Tom Wilkinson, now in theaters with "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," and Rutger Hauer, now in....well, star of 1985's LadyHawke, have joined the cast of "Batman Begins" according to trade paper Hollywood Reporter:

"Wilkinson plays Falcone, one of the leading crime figures in Gotham City, while Hauer portrays Earle, a business contemporary of Bruce Wayne's murdered father who has designs on the Wayne corporate empire." (side note: This is only a cameo appearance, but there are also rumors coming from key areas that Hauer will be "reinventing a character who's half man/half bat". Perhaps a cameo for a future appearance?)

Rounding out the A-list cast are: Christian Bale (Batman/Bruce Wayne), Katie Holmes, Cillian Murphy, Michael Caine, Ken Watanabe, Gary Oldham, Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman. Whew!
