Holy Bat-blunder! Neeson Not Ra’s al Ghul

Variety got a bit ahead of itself yesterday when it mistakenly reported Liam Neeson would play villain Ra’s al Ghul in the upcoming Batman: Intimidation movie.

Liam Neeson has not been cast as Ra’s al Ghul in the upcoming Batman: Intimidation movie despite a report yesterday from Variety.

Instead, he will play a character called Henri Ducard, a sort of mentor to Bruce Wayne (played by Christian Bale).

28 Days Later’s Cillian Murphy is a villain in the film, but Warner Bros. has not disclosed which. Some reports say he’ll be Jonathan Crane/the Scarecrow while others say he’ll be Harvey Dent.
