Here is the report from Showblitz. All we need to know now is who she might be playing! Catwoman ally Holly Robinson is the most widely speculated option, although some seem to believe that she'll be playing a female version of Robin! Be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place!



Last weekend, Jeff Sneider exclusively reported that Juno Temple was being eyed for a role in "The Dark Knight Rises" -- and now we know for sure. SHOWBLITZ has learned that the indie darling is locked in and set to begin shooting early this summer. Not 100% certain on the role yet, but we're hearing she'll play a "street-smart Gotham girl," so it' s not sounding like anything more than a small part.


With an all star cast which includes Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Garly Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane and Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, The Dark Knight Rises is set to be released on July 20, 2012!

If Nolan won't bring in Dick Grayson or even Tim Drake, why would he bring in a girl Robin?
I have my bet on Catwoman's sidekick or even a Harley Quinn cameo.

last time I checked harley quinn wasn't a street smart gotham girl, she was a accomplished psychologist who wound up working in Arkham. So I doubt the fact that she's going to be Harley. Holly Robinson is an option but she could easily have a much smaller role in the movie or who knows nolan might surprise us with some one unexpected.

I thought her acting in Year One sucked so bad but I thought she was kinda hot lol. There is no girl Robin people, relax. If they don't even want to Robin himself, I highly doubt they'd say okay to Robin and then make him into a her. The whole thing is silly. It's not gonna happen.

Darkmatter: I feel like this will just be another Olivia Munn Iron Man II moment. Though for some reason I find her really attractive, and wouldn't complain if she was in a skimpy superhero costume ;)

Hopefully Holly Robinson or at least a made up character.

@Vital: Not that I want to see her as Robin but there actually has been girl Robins. In continuity of the current comics, a girl, by the name of Stephanie Brown, was the fourth Robin, and she was the daughter of the villain cluemaster. Also in the popular elseworld graphic novel called The Dark Knight Returns there was girl Robin.

B Gordon can't be, in the previous pick the girl looked like she was only 5 or so. Can't be that many years since the 2nd movie to make B Gordon all grown up.

@BatLantern.... U said it!I donno when will the Robin ppl stop?? What does Nolan has to do to convince them his movies will not feature Robin?
Next thing u'll know is people coming after the trilogy is done and they'd go: "Hey did u see the scene when Robin was...??!"
I came across ppl who actually believe that either the kid in Batman Begins is Robin and others who even thought the same about Gordon's son in The Dark Knight!
As for Juno Temple she's probably playing Holly, Selins's best friend. Period!
