I really can't recall another movie adding cast members so late into production before. Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises must boast the most recognizable supporting cast in history at this point.



Now Deadline reveal the latest addition..

Rodriguez, repped by CAA and A Management, has booked a small role on Chris Nolan’s next Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises.


Said role remains undisclosed. But I think we can dispense with the wild speculation on this one. In this movie "small role" may mean "second cop from the left". Deadline also report that Rodriguez has signed on to play a male stripper alongside Channing Tatum Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer and True Blood‘s Joe Mangianello in Steven Soderbergh’s Magic Mike.

Just because someone is on a recognizable actor on a hit show, that doesn't mean they're playing someone of note.

Come on, if an actor, any actor, was offered a role in TDKR, would they turn it down barring some sort of scheduling conflict?
