Mugger Confronts Bruce Wayne's Parents In New BATMAN v SUPERMAN Set Videos

Yesterday, videos and pictures from the set of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice appeared to show the moments leading up to the death of Bruce Wayne's parents. Now we have some new videos showing a mugger pointing a gun at them.

Based on the images and videos we saw yesterday, it seems like a safe bet that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will include a flashback to the fateful night when Dr. Thomas Wayne and his wife Martha were murdered by a petty mugger right in front of their son Bruce. Below, are a couple of new videos show Bruce Wayne's parents coming face-to-face with the man that will eventually murder them. You can even see him pointing a gun at Bruce's father, and possibly shooting him. In the comics, this sequence of events unfolded in Detective Comics #33 (November 1939), but we didn't learn the identity of the mugger, Joe Chill, until many years later in Batman #47 (June-July 1948).

Considering this is such an integral part of Bruce Wayne's history, yes they should show it, especially when this is a new Batman.

@Goran

I have to agree with Nomis regarding Spiderman, the second time around was just piss poor to say the least.

But here is the deal with Spider Man, Batman, or Superman and another handful of super heroes who have a specific origin. Those origins need to be retold for the new fans not us, yeah I get it we have seen so far three or four Batman origins but in reality it does not really get old.

But it is great to see any director staying somewhat true to the comics etc.......

Also this could be simply a flashback, we will just have to wait and see 2016.

Technically its the fourth time we have seen them bite the bullet in live action....

Burton's Batman
Batman Begins
Gotham
and now BvS

And yeah........people bitched about Spider-Man getting his retold a second time. At least it was different. Anxious for this film.......but not this scene.
