Cameras are currently rolling on Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in Georgia, but work on the Marvel Studios sequel has been halted today after star Letitia Wright (Shuri) was injured while performing a stunt that is said to have involved a rig of some sort, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

While the actress has been taken to hospital, it's thankfully nothing serious and her injuries are minor.

"Letitia Wright sustained minor injuries today while filming a stunt for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," reads a statement shared by a Disney spokesperson earlier today. "She is currently receiving care in a local hospital and is expected to be released soon."

It's said that the incident isn't expected to affect the Black Panther sequel's production schedule, so there's no need to worry about any sort of release date delay. Needless to say, we're wishing Wright a speedy recovery and will share any additional details with you about her status as we get them.

It was only yesterday that Wright was spotted on the set of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever alongside Okoye actress Danau Gurira. We're assuming Shuri and Okoye were meant to be in disguise as they track down Riri Williams (a.k.a. Ironheart), but you can take a look at the photo of them both below:
