The BLACK PANTHER Lives In New WAKANDA FOREVER "One Week" Trailer

With just one week to go until Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hits theaters, Marvel Studios has released a one-minute teaser spotlighting some exciting new footage from Ryan Coogler's sequel...

We're now just one week away from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hitting theaters, and Marvel Studios has shared one final trailer to get fans hyped for what will be the final big-screen release of Phase 4.

The teaser begins with Queen Ramonda addressing the other world leaders, who have made the fatal mistake of believing Wakanda's Vibranium reserves to be ripe for the picking after the death of King T'Challa. From there, we see Namor and his forces launch their attack, as Shuri and her people prepare to meet them in battle.

The promo concludes with a hero shot of Wakanda's new protector, as M'Baku proudly proclaims: "The Black Panther lives!"

At this point, it seems pretty obvious who will take up the mantle... unless Ryan Coogler and co. have managed to keep a major swerve under wraps!

In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of a hidden undersea nation, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena, and Alex Livanalli.

Full reviews are embargoed until November 9th, but critics were allowed to share their social media reactions last Thursday (you'll find mine below).

Interesting they are being really shy on showing footage of the new Black Panther in the trailers

Actually doesn't look very good. The CGI is less than impressive.

Why is Namor flying using the little wings on his ankles? That took me out of it.

And why is the poorly placed hip-hop song about slavery when the Wakandans were never slaves. They are actually the antithesis of slaves......unless they were some of those African leaders who captured other African tribes and sold them into slavery to the slave traders.

They do have a rich history and wouldn't that be an interesting and ironic thing to uncover from their past.
That would have added a great dimension to the Killmonger beef with Wakanda.

Compare that with the first Black Panther trailer....the first one was amazing. This one.....nope.

@TyrantBossMedia - Even the TEASER trailer for Black Panther was better than this. It was amazing and really got me excited.

"And why is the poorly placed hip-hop song about slavery when the Wakandans were never slaves"

@TyrantBossMedia - Because selling oppression works. It’s quite fashionable these days to tell minorities they are oppressed rather than promote positive messaging that helps people to better themselves.

Pretty clear data on how first generation African and Caribbean black immigrants out perform African Americans in every metric.

I wish that same work ethic and family culture could be promoted within the African American community but unfortunately too many institutions benefit from keeping them in the same status they have been for a very long time.

@mountainman - You make a valid point. It’s easier for some in this country to sell oppression and the past instead of success and the future.

@TyrantBossMedia - It’s not exclusive to US politics. This is basic influence and behavioral economics. You get people on your side when you tell them their problems are the fault of an external force. It’s happened in one way or another for the entirety of human history.

@Rastarapha - What’s wrong with promoting merit? It’s certainly better than promoting mediocrity.

Holy hell the movie looks so beautiful. Last MCU film that looked this beautiful was Shang Chi. I love visuals like these.

Cool detail revealed is how the Talokan hand gesture is based on ones seen in many Mesoamerican codices.
