Someone Mixed The CIVIL WAR Trailer With Adele's "Hello", Because... Why Not?

"So was I". The first trailer for Captain America: Civil War was phenomenal. It was thrilling, intriguing and, above all else, heartbreaking. How, then, could anyone make it any more emotionally devastating? Mix it with an Adele song of course. Hit the jump to check it out!

That Captain America: Civil War trailer was unexpectedly emotional. I mean, we knew we were in for some great action and drama, but none of us figured we'd be left bawling over the tattered remains of Tony Stark & Steve Rogers' friendship... after the first teaser no less! The Russo Brothers really look like they've created an emotional gut-punch of a movie here.

You know who else is a specialist in making people bawl? Adele. Now, one emotionally manipulative very creative video editor (Anthony Meadows) has decided to mix her hit single "Hello" with the Civil War trailer - and the results are suprisingly heartbreaking. Naturally, the hotly debated 'love triangle' between Cap, Iron Man & Bucky Barnes takes center stage...

Not bad, eh? *sob* What did you think? Sound off below - and be sure to let me know which Marvel anti-hero you 'ship' Steve Rogers with!

Edit: Um, don't... don't actually do that last part. Please.

Captain America: Civil War hits theatres May 6, 2016.

Interesting choice in music. I guess it works…until you think about the homosexual implications of the pairing. I don't have anything else to say, so…have some fan art...

So my sister said this made the movie look "sexy" and brought a tear to her eye. Marvel should market their movies with more licensed tracks. Funny how something like this works wonders for a movie's advertising

Okay, the tone of the song actually fit the trailer rather well.

Are we still pretending Cap and Tony are actually friends?

Since when?

@Battabing

When they come out with the Ant-Man Civil War trailer, they need to update this with Lionel Richie "Hello". It would almost be too perfect, Cap, Stark, Bucky, and Rudd

Cap and Stark aren't friends. They're cordial workmates.

Stark's friends are Banner, Potts, and Rhodes.
Natasha's friend is Clint Barton.
Cap's friend is Bucky.

If Stark said that to Banner or Hawkeye said it to Black Widow, I'd be like "Aiight."

There's no way Cap should be conflicted about Tony's claim to friendship.

They don't like each other.

@Battabing

I think the best argument is that we don't know what has happened off screen between Cap and Stark

But, yeah, going on the movies alone, I felt like they were hinting at Civil War all the way back to Avengers 1, and even in AOU, Stark liked busting Caps balls, with the "Language" stuff and everything more than being a genuine friend, and after what Stark pulled in AOU, I got the vibe that Cap was happy that he was finally leaving the team

Imho, Caps friends are Falcon, Bucky, and I would say Natasha too, possibly Fury.... but I don't think him and Stark really got along, picturing Cap and Stark going to dinner together, or just watching a game, would just be awkward, imo

@ALmazing

There are good points for both sides

It is hard to picture Cap and Stark hanging out alone together, imo

Personally,

When Tony said that in the trailer, I thought it was awesome, but that's because it plays into Stark's mentality

How does Tony Stark define a friend?

You know
