Straight off the screen from 2014’s The Winter Soldier, it’s Captain America! Boldly depicted in the specialized S.H.I.E.L.D.-issue stealth featured in the film , The Captain America Winter Soldier Statue is based on the actual digital scan data of actor Chris Evans, his costumes and props, making it the most authentic and screen-accurate collectable available. Each limited edition hand-painted piece is rendered in high-quality polystone and comes individually numbered with a matching certificate of authenticity. A perfect companion piece to our Black Widow Statue, the 18" Scale Captain America Winter Soldier Statue is a must-have for fans and collectors alike!

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy — the Winter Soldier. Starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp and Maximiliano Hernández with Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Redford, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is directed by the team of Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing the film. Executive producers on the project include Alan Fine, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee. The creative production team on the film includes director of photography Trent Opaloch, production designer Peter Wenham, editors Jeffrey Ford, A.C.E. and Mary Jo Markey, A.C.E. and three time Oscar®-nominated costume designer Judianna Makovsky. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is set for release on April 4, 2014.

Loving the uniform but it looks like they couldn't get the face right. Or they didn't want to pay Evans for his likeness.

That's beautiful. Even on my iPhone screen, I could tell how detailed and amazing this looks.

Yah, this statue is way out of my price range. I mean, you could tell this looks expensive.

What's with the smug face? Otherwise it looks great. I really like the direction they went with the suit. I just hope that it's a little more form fitting and not quite as baggy.

I should say that the pants are baggy. The top looks good.

TOO MUCH COLOR! Obviously this is his Battle Stealth Suit for the espionage scene in the film. But he'll stand out like a sore thumb and get everyone killed in that garish outfit.
KrazyForKomix
KrazyForKomix - 1/16/2014, 6:45 AM
and another thing . . . why isn't his neck protected? With that super safety child protection helmet, chin strap and knee pads, you'd think he would borrow a little from Nolan's bat suit and cover up that unprotected neck, yes?

Love collectable things for MCU. I've started collecting this, as well as DCCU stuff. So far though I don't have much for the DCCU. But I now own

All MCU films DVD. The phase one box set (the tesseract one) and all comics that tie in in the collectors edition.

Hoping to pick up the Avengers best buy box set but its another 40 bucks to snag and I already have the Avengers in bluray and DVD

Damm. Really hope that Zack goes with something as good as this for the Batman suit and that makes the new Superman suit at least as bright as this. I can't believe how much the suit looked black in certain parts of the movie.

The outfit looks ok, but I'm a SideShow/Hot Toys buyer and their figures are possable and their face sculpts are almost right on. This face had no likeliness of Chris Evans. Wouldn’t buy it for $100. C’mon SideShow, make gentle giant look like a bunch of amateurs.

"Am I the only one who likes Cap's suit from the avenger more than this one?"

No you are not alone. I miss the red white and blue.

I know they are trying for a more serious look and less of a comic book colorful look....but this suit is my least favorite look for Cap we have seen so far.

I like Cap's outfit from The Avengers the most.
CapitanAmerika2
CapitanAmerika2 - 1/16/2014, 2:20 PM
@JFogg: No you are not. In fact I'm not overly fond of this stealth suit at all. To me it takes away the "America" from Captain America. I am so glad he goes back to the red, white, and blue suit in this movie. I also love that this version of the red, white, and blue suit seems to be a combination of the suit from Captain America: The First Avenger and the suit from the Avengers.
