I know, most of these costume illustrations were for characters in Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but I can't help but look at The Flash concept art and think about the exciting upcoming fall season of comic book-based television shows. Comic book fans are gonna have lots to choose from. Many will spend countless hours trying to keep of with all of them: CW's Arrow, The Flash and iZombie, Fox's Gotham, NBC's Constantine, AMC's The Walking Dead and ABC's Marvel Comics show Agents of S.H.I.E.D.. And if the recently announced Supergirl takes off at CW that could potentially lead to a whole three hour block of DC shows on one night. That thought makes me salivate like Homer Simpson. Oh, and Hail Hydra!

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier. Based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941, Marvel's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is produced by Kevin Feige, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely, and stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Emily VanCamp and Hayley Atwell, with Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.

Marvel's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," available early on Digital 3D and HD August 19, and on 3D Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-ray, DVD and On-Demand September 9, from Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment.

Colbie Smolders is hot in a "my friend's big sister" kinda way.
Not sold on her acting, though. She's always just kinda there.

As badass as it looks, I don't understand why the metal hand needs a glove, yet his actual hand doesn't. You'd think he'd need gloves you avoid leaving fingerprints.

There will never be a 3 hour superhero block on the CW. That network only has 2 hours of primetime per night and only does 10 hours of programing each week. The reason why Supergirl probably won't go CW is because there is no room on the schedule.

Cobie Smulders is hot like in a hot kinda way. Like, super hot. I really hope she's in Cap 3. I'd love a Cap/Maria Hill romance.
