SPOILERS: SUICIDE SQUAD #12 Cover Seemingly Reveals A Major Character Death
The previously classified cover for Suicide Squad #12 has leaked online early, and it appears to reveal the shocking death of a Task Force X mainstay. Hit the jump to check it out, but SPOILERS follow!
In today's issue of Suicide Squad, Amanda Waller was shot point blank in the chest, and the cover for issue #12 appears to confirm that the Task Force X boss is indeed dead! There's obviously a good chance this is misdirection, but it looks pretty definite baed on this cover art alone. As a result, it now appears as if we can expect the team to have to investigate her demise, but will they really want to?
They probably don't have much in the way of motivation considering the fact that Waller treats the team so poorly, but this should still be a lot of fun to see play out. For more, here's the soliciation text:
