That's right the Living Tribunal has bit the dust. Also for those of you who don't know who the Living Tribunal is he is the overseer of the entire Marvel Multiverse and is said to be the second most powerful being in the Marvel universe

But who could have caused this? The Builders, Thanos, or is this a result of the fallout of AGE OF ULTRON. Also could this lead to the rumored Marvel Comics Reboot. Sound off below on what you think.

NEW AVENGERS #8
JONATHAN HICKMAN (W) • MIKE DEODATO (A/C)
“LORDS OF CHAOS”
• As casualties pile up in the ongoing war between Wakanda and Atlantis, an Illuminati member is forced to make a hard choice.
• An Inhuman learns of the Illuminati’s plans.
• Prelude to INFINITY: Everything falls apart.

God killer probably did it. Thats what I was thinking when I read this book. It could be what the Bot wanted Tony to do.

Why in the world does that thing have a human body? And how can a god die? This isn't like Asgardian gods; this is like an actual god.

Ouch. The Living Tribunal didn't think Thanos was a threat messing with the entire universe and thus didn't take him out. Which he seemed be confident that he had the power to take down Thanos with the Gauntlet easily, yet didn't do so because "a cosmic crime had not been committed".

So if he's dead. Ouch.

Still kinda takes away his power though. I mean, if he can be even hurt that seems to take away the awe of him a bit. But oh well.

Wondering if they will reboot. If they stopped having Spider-Ock I'd be happier.

If they did reboot, I am wondering where that would put Spider-man though. I mean he was created as a teenager so would they do a new 52 by taking all the good stories and saying they are in continuity someway while clearing out the bad? Or would they put him back to being 15 and just starting out? Interesting thought...

what rumours of a reboot? Where did this come from?

They don't need a reboot, don't fix what isn't broken. Marvel Now brought a lot of synergy to the entire line, as long as they do a unified shuffle like that every once in a while, and keep making good books, they'll be fine.

Yea, Marvel's pretty broken.
Doing a reboot, while needed, would just be seen as a super DC rip-off (like Marvel NOW is seen right now, actually).
I say cancel all the monthlies and focus on annuals and trades.

Luminus - Gods die all the time. There is really no such thing as "immortals". Death can even probably "die"

It wouldve been nice if they used him a little more beforehand... :\ Aside from showing up in She-Hulk's 2006 series, dude hasnt really been around since '92.
"The Living Tribunal possesses virtually unlimited power and absolute control over the Marvel Multiverse, and is only weaker than the The One-Above-All"
Hopefully Hickman'll do some flashbacks to better portray this and why this is so crazy.

If the Tribunal is dead........no one is watching the store. There are no universal rules any longer.

Shit can and will hit the fan.

The universe is broken.

This is incredibly stupid. Isn't there literally only one Living Tribunal in the entire multiverse? Like, he simply exists in all of them simultaneously?
