THE WOLVERINE, PLANET OF THE APES And "A Surprise" Promised For Fox's SDCC Panel

While many had assumed that 20th Century Fox's San Diego Comic-Con panel would spotlight three movies due to it being 90 minutes in length, it has now been confirmed that fans should expect to see The Wolverine, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and "a surprise" (X-Men: Days of Future Past?).

The Hollywood Reporter confirms that The Wolverine and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes will both be featured in 20th Century Fox's Hall H panel on July 26th. A surprise panel featuring "something major" is also teased and it seems likely that that will be X-Men: Days of Future Past (especially as it's slated for release between these two movies). Whether this means that the cast will make an appearance and/or footage will be shown remains unclear, although with so few details known about the movie, fans will be hoping that at least SOMETHING new is revealed. An appearance of some sort from The Fantastic Four would certainly be a surprise, especially as the movie doesn't seem to even have a cast as of yet. What do you guys think?

FOX IS TRASH AND SO IS BRYAN SINGER!!!
WITHOUT MATTHEW VAUGHN THERE NOTHING. Vaughn atleast gave it some life to the comics, some great cinematagraphy and a strong composer!!!! SINGER WILL NEVER DO THAT. I want to see the original 5 onscreen the right way! AND I WANT WOLVERINE WITH A [frick]ING COWL,!!! AND A GREAT SCOTT SUMMERS CYCLOPS!!! WHEN ARE U GUYS GOING TO THAT?

A surprise? Deadpool would be a surprise. X-Men DoFP should be perfunctory.

Fox still has the rights for the original Star Wars trilogy. They'll probably announce that they're gonna release the unraped versions fully remastered.

@Spideyman yea right. Sony has already made some intertwining with Disney. Fox is on the outs.

God i hope its not FF...let them rape the Mutant Universe and stay away from other heroes. There is more then enough mutant story to cover it. They dont need the FF and should drop it.

Id keep The Wolverine panel out too.

Give all that time to DOFP, X-Force and another movie. If a big part of the cast attends, they would have enough things to discuss and let the audience make many questions.

Fassbender, McAvoy, Lawrence, Hoult, Jackman, Ellen Page, Paquin, Ashmore and more all on the same panel? give them all the time! lol
