A couple of weeks ago, Jon Favreau conducted an interview with the great Harrison Ford.
Well it seems as though Favreau is at it again, only this time he talked to the producers of the upcoming Cowboys & Aliens. Check out below what Steven Spielberg, Brian Grazer & Ron Howard had to say about their early projects, John Ford and of course Cowboys & Aliens!

In 1873 Arizona, a loner named Jake Lonergan (Daniel Craig) awakens with no memory of his past and a mysterious shackle around his wrist. He enters the town of Absolution where he learns that he is a notorious criminal wanted by many people, including Colonel Dolarhyde (Harrison Ford), who rules the town with an iron fist. Absolution soon faces an even greater threat when alien spaceships attack the town. While his shackle holds the key to defeating the aliens, Lonergan must ally with Dolarhyde and other former enemies to make a stand against them

Cowboys & Aliens hit cinemas July 19th, 2011.

To be honest I don't really find this film appealing from the trailers, and something tells me it won't do too well at the box office and that it'll get a lukewarm reception in general. Just a hunch though so 'twould be cool to see it do well.

For fans of Spielberg, Howard, Grazer, Favereau, science fiction and/or westerns, this movie looks like a gem. This one' likely to be a blowout just for those 4 filmmakers being involved. You don't really need much else to sell it, though Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford being in the movie doesn't hurt.
