Back in 2009, I've decided to cast some of the major players in the DC Comics universe, however, this article features characters related directly with Wonder Woman only. The castings for other DC characters are either on separate articles or have not yet been posted.
NOTE:My fan cast is base primarily on the outer appearance of the actors/actresses because (naturally) I did not examine the acting ability of every single actor/actress.
NOTE: I’m very indecisive about my choices so please help me choose who can play Wonder Woman and who can play Donna Troy.
The Good Guys
Lena Headey as Wonder Woman
I know…I know. Why the hell did you cast her!? Well, I’m not really sure. Actually, she was just my original cast. Look below for people I feel will better suit the role of Wonder Woman. I originally casted her because I wanted someone who wasn’t too young and had enough “star power” to stand next to the likes of Christian Bale. Plus, I think she looks pretty badass though admittedly, she doesn’t look very strong and she’s not very tall (only 5’6”-ish)

Jodi Lyn O’Keefe as Wonder Woman
She seems to be one of the fan favorites and I agree that she definitely has the looks down. Plus, she’s of decent height for the role (5’9” to 5’10”). She’s about Brandon Routh’s age so she’s not too young. I would definitely think she can play Wonder Woman except I don’t believe I’ve actually ever seen her act.

Tanit Phoenix as Wonder Woman
I think, she can definitely be another choice to Wonder Woman. I first discovered her when she was rumored to be sough after for the planned Wonder Woman TV show. I’ve actually never seen her act so I don’t know if pull such an iconic character off but I think she probably looks the most like how Wonder Woman should be. She’s sexy, tall(-ish), and foreign:)
Brad Pitt as Steve Trevor
I decided to cast Brad Pitt as Steve Trevor because I like the revamp version of Steve Trevor in which he was older than Wonder Woman. However, Brad Pitt is young enough to be considered a possible love interest to Wonder Woman if the movie decides to go that way. But anyway, of course Brad Pitt is a brilliant actor which ultimately made my decision.
Cate Blanchett as Hippolyta
I know that Cate Blanchett is not much older than my choices for Wonder Woman but the Amazons are suppose to be immortal anyway. She’s a great actress and I think she can pull off the majestic feel of a Queen.
Rachel Nichols as Artemis
I don’t really have a movie in which I can base Rachel Nichols’ acting on (except G.I. Joe which isn’t much) but she looks great as red-head. Plus, she was a real bad-ass which is exactly what she needs to be to play Artemis.
Olivia Munn as Donna Troy
Yes, Olivia Munn was my ORIGINAL cast but I’m not really sure what prompted me to pick her except for the fact that she has the looks. Other than that…I’m not really sure why. So…

Jessica Lowndes as Donna Troy
…I decided to pick Jessica Lowndes as Donna Troy. Personally, I’ve never seen both of them (Jessica or Olivia) actually act except that I feel like Jessica wouldn’t be as goofy. Plus, Jessica Lowndes also has the looks and is much hotter than Olivia Munn.
Teresa Palmer as Wondergirl
Teresa Palmer definitely has the right look for Cassie Sandsmark and I think she has potential to be a decent actress.
The Bad Guys
Sienna Miller as Giganta
I’m not quite sure what to say except that I just feel that she’s right for the part. I don’t think Giganta needs to have a particularly good actress to portray her (I’ve only notice Sienna in G.I. Joe).
Eva Mendes as Cheetah
I think Eva Mendes is a great actress who definitely looks the part of the Cheetah (Barbara Ann Minerva). I think that she can definitely bring a twist and sexiness to the role.
Jennifer Garner as Circe
Even though Jennifer Garner sucked as Electra, I think that she can still play a badass person albeit a villain. I admit, I don’t think I’ve ever seen her in a villainous role so I’m not sure how she’ll do but I think she has enough acting chops to pull it off. Plus, she looks the role and I’m sure can still do some kick-ass stunts.
Hilary Swank as Knockout
All I needed to see was Million Dollar Baby to decide that Hilary Swank is perfect for the role. She'll be pretty much playing the same character she played in that movie except in this movie, she'll be a villain with super powers (and minus the boxing gloves). She’s also a good actress who I think can bring a new dept to an otherwise superficial character.
Ali Larter as Silver Swan II
Ali Larter definitely looks the part to play the Silver Swan and she’s of the proper age to be a friend to Diana as Silver Swan was before she became evil. I can’t say whether or not Larter has enough acting chops to pull this role off but I can definitely see her in a villainous, action role.
James Isaac as Ares
What can I say? James Isaac is perfect…tough, manipulative, and downright evil. Nonetheless, I've actually considered casting Vincent Cassel as Ares simply because he looks like a guy who can play Ares more as a manipulater than an actual physical force.
