Now an outlaw in Gotham City, Batman must now battle Gotham's remaining Mobsters as well as the rising talent, whilst evading the Police who are also battling Gotham's Mob. On the 1st anniversary of Rachel's death, a new threat called "The Riddler" causes old memories to come back and haunt Batman with the knowledge of Harvey Dent's vengence rampage which clears Batman's name but sends Gotham into chaos, leaving Batman to pick up the pieces and continue his crusade against crime.
Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth
Bruce Wayne's trusted butler, Alfred continues to serve as Bruce's aid and confident who is always there to pick up the pieces and offer Bruce a kind word and gifted advice that always helps Bruce.
Gary Oldman as James Gordon
Gordon has been Commisioner for a year and it hasn't been an easy ride. Beside having to blame the murders of Harvey Dent on his friend and ally Batman, he is continiously challenged by officers who now hate Batman who see him as a cop killer. One in particular is Det. Harvey Bullock who is ambitious and wants to replace Gordon, but Gordon will go to any means to stop the new threat of The Riddler from dismantling all that he and Batman haved worked for in the last 2 years.
Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox
Fox is continuing as CEO of Wayne Industries as well as providing Bruce Wayne with the up to date equipment that keeps him safe and provides the edge over Gotham's criminals. Fox is put under pressure when the mastermind known as The Riddler links Fox to Batman who he says is Bruce Wayne.
Edward Norton as Edward Nygma / The Riddler
Nygma is a former Police Detective who was under the payroll of Carmine Falcone. Nygma was Falcone's go to guy for information as Nygma was an MIT Graduate but failed to get anywhere because of a criminal record. He was hired by Falcone to create a new identity and join the Police but when Falcone was put away by Batman, Nygma was fired by Harvey Dent when he first joined Internal Affairs. Nygma has been seeking revenge on the 2 ever since and began studying both. Nygma found evidence showing Harvey Dent's murders and on the 1st anniversary of his death, showed it publically on all screens in Gotham. he then began to terrorise all of Gotham with information on everybody that will push everybody to their limits and anybody is willing to do anything to stay out of the Riddler's path.
Leonardo DiCaprio as Roman Sionis / Black Mask
Roman Sionis was born into a wealthy family who murdered his parents to gain their money and business which was covered up by Carmine Falcone who would later use Sionis when he pleased. Falcone was put in Arkham and Sionis ended up bankrupt because of poor business dealings and the selling of a water proof make up that had disatrous effects. He turned to crime but was apprehended by Batman and his reputation was ruined. Luckily while travelling to Blackgate, another prisoner arranged an escape and Sionis escaped also. He then created his own small gang under a new alias Black Mask. Sionis now wore a Black facial mask at all times and ordered all staff to do so also. After the Joker dismembered most of the prominent gangs, Black Mask's is the up and coming Gang that has taken most of Gotham which plans to take the rest.
Rachel Wiesz as Selina Kyle / Catwoman
Selina Kyle is a common thief. She is an orphan but was born into a poor family with only a family heirlume worth anything and when her parents were killed when she was a teenager and with no home and no money, turned to prostitution to survive. After accidentally killing an older client through a heart attack, she stole from him and the thrill of the chase continued with stealing more until she became a full time cat thief. After Bruce Wayne buys the heirlume at auction for £3.2 million she asserts to get it back. When Alfred is taken with Flu, Bruce Wayne advertises for a temporary PA and Selina lands the job so she can take back the heirlume. Black Mask hires Catwoman to steal Batman's utility belt to take away all of his amazing gadgets but she is caught up in The Riddler's big plan when she stumbles across Bruce's secret as Batman.
Ray Winstone as Harvey Bullock
Bullock is a Police Detective just transferred to Major Crimes. He is under the payroll of Black Mask and is told to get a vote of no confidence in Commisioner Gordon and to kill anybody in his way so he will become new Commisioner so Black Mask will control the police.
