I wrestled within my mind as to whether or not to delete my original "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" fancast, but decided to keep said fancast, if only to represent the evolution of my decision making.
If a new "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" film were to be made, I feel that the plot of the movie should follow the "Green With Evil" saga. I think that this is probably the best saga ever told on the small screen, and deserves a shot at dominating the BIG SCREEN.
I've narrowed down my previous casting choices to who I feel will portray the characters best. I chose to stick with actors in there teen years. I also have added the rest of the characters from the Television version of this story.
I hold the "Power Rangers" close to my heart, being that it reminds me of a simpler and happier time of my life. "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" were an essential part of the 90's, and provided young children proper role models, and a classic, well-represented message: We shouldn't use violence to solve our problems, only when all other possible solutions are exhausted is it used. And no matter what happens, stay true to yourself. In the end, good always triumphs over evil.
As always, all comments are welcomed. I don't take anything personally. I do this because it's fun, and to share my opinions with you guys. I love looking at your FANCASTS, and love your opinions.
PS. If this movie were to be made, I don't think that the villains like "Baboo & Squatt," "Finster," and "Goldar" should be CGI. I think they should be suits, we see WAY TOO MUCH CGI nowadays.

Zordon-Patrick Stewart
Patrick Stewart has proved time, and time again, that he has the acting abilities to pull off the "Inspirational Leader" role. Besides his, near identical, looks, his voice just screams intelligence and commands the attention of anyone who shall hear it.
RELATED ROLES:
Charles Xavier: "X-Men"
Jean Luc Picard: "Star Trek: The Next Generation"
Ebenezer Scrooge: "A Christmas Carol"
Alpha 5-Richard Steven Horvitz(voice)
I chose to follow the advice of a popular saying with this choice, "If it isn't broke, don't fix it."
RELATED ROLES:
Alpha 5: "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers"
Jason Lee Scott(Red Ranger)-Taylor Lautner
Now, I know most of you, like me, are tired of seeing "Twilight Kids." But, there is no denying that Taylor Lautner is a promising young talent in the film business. In both "New Moon" and "Eclipse," as Jacob Black, he proves that he can play the leading man rather convincingly.
RELATED ROLES:
Jacob Black: "Twilight Saga"
Zack Taylor(Black Ranger)-Corbin Bleu
Corbin Bleu was one of the breakout stars of the silly "High School Musical" craze. In said movie, he wasn't the lead, but showed promise of a future as a "Leading Man." Right now, he needs to break-free of "Disney," if he hopes to become a "Hot Commadity."
RELATED ROLES:
Chad Danforth: "High School Musical" Trilogy
Trini Kwan(Yellow Ranger)-Devon Aoki
Devon Aoki is an extraordinary talent, in the way of action films. She has proved, in most of her films, that she can kick ass. She would fit the role of "Trini Kwan" well, being the underestimated member of the group.
RELATED ROLES:
Miho: "Sin City"
Kira Yanagawa: "War"
Kimberly Hart(Pink Ranger)-Anna Sophia Robb
Anna Sophia Robb is a surprisingly good actress. I feel that she has the ability to mix the characteristics of ditziness and narccisism that "Kimberly Hart" exhibits.
RELATED ROLES:
Violet Beauregarde: "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"
Leslie Burke: "Bridge to Terabithia"
India 'Opal' Buloni: "Because of Winn Dixie"
Billy Cranston(Blue Ranger)-Anton Yelchin
Anton Yelchin is, I feel, the best young actor out there. He's extremely versatile, more so than most of his more successful peers in the film business. I absolutely know that he can pull this role off better than anyone else.
RELATED ROLES:
Charlie Bartlett: "Charlie Bartlett"
Kyle Reese: "Terminator Salvation"
Tommy Oliver(Green Ranger)-Josh Hutcherson
In my previous article, I had Josh Hutcherson portraying "Jason Lee Scott(Red Ranger). But, upon further reflection, I really feel that he would be better suited to play the fan-favorite, "Tommy Oliver(Green Ranger)." This kid's got a bright future ahead of him. He is an extremely talented young man, who can pull off the "Devil May Care" attitude required for this role.
RELATED ROLES:
Jesse Aarons: "Bridge to Terabithia"
Steve "Leopard" Leonard: "Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assisstant"
Lord Zedd-Willem Dafoe(voice)
There's not much else to say about Willem Dafoe, other than he's an amazing actor. But, the focus is on his voice, rather than his acting abilities. I do think that Willem Dafoe has the unique ability to tell a story with just his vocal talents. Willem Dafoe's voice is just the dark and scary sound that is needed to resurrect the "Emperor of All That is Evil."
RELATED ROLES:
Agent Paul Smecker: "The Boondock Saints"
Max Schreck: "Shadow of the Vampire"
Norman Osborn: "Spiderman" Trilogy
Lord Zedd-Kane Hodder(body)
I absolutely adore Kane Hodder. He is the best "Jason Voorhees" of the "Friday the 13th" films, and usually plays a serial killer in his films. He has the exact build I would like to see as "Lord Zedd."
RELATED ROLES:
Jason Voorhees: "Friday the 13th VII-X"
Victor Crowley: "Hatchet" films
Dennis Rader: "BTK"
Rita Repulsa-Anjelica Huston
Anjelica Huston is a legend in Hollywood. She's been nominated, and won, many of the awards given to only the best actors Hollywood has to offer. I am 100% positive that she can play the part of "Rita Repulsa" in her sleep.
RELATED ROLES:
Morticia Addams: "The Addams Family" Films
Baroness Rodmilla de Ghent: "Ever After"
Goldar-Michael Clarke Duncan
Yes, "John Coffey." Like the drink, only spelled different. Although he is usually cast as the "Oversized Villain" in a lot of movies, his role as "John Coffey" is a reminder that he's more than a "dumb brute." Yes, it's his roles as villains that swayed my decision, but I would really like to see "Goldar" given more depth.
RELATED ROLES:
John Coffey: "The Green Mile"
Attar: "Planet of the Apes"
Manute: "Sin City"
Scorpina-Lucy Liu
Originally, I thought that Lucy Liu would make a good "Rita Repulsa. But, upon further reflection, I'd really like to see her kick @$$, like we all know she can.
RELATED ROLES:
Alex Munday: "Charlie's Angels" films
O-Ren Ishii: "Kill Bill Vol. 1"
Finster-Kevin Kline(voice)
Kevin Kline is my all-time favorite actor. His voice just really fits what I imagine "Finster" would sound like.
RELATED ROLES:
George Monroe: "Life as a House"
William Hundert: "Emperor's Club"
Cole Porter: "De-Lovely"
Baboo-Seth Macfarlane
What can I say, Seth Macfarlane is hilarious. And I really feel that "Baboo" should stick to the "bumbling villain" role, despite the darker roles the majority of the characters will have. Seth Macfarlane has an impressive array of voices to entertain the masses with.
Squatt-Patrick Warburton(voice)
I've always thought Patrick Warburton's voice would fit "Squatt." In the TV series, his voice was a bit higher, like a boy going through puberty. I just think that Patrick Warburton's voice will endear "Squatt," even more, to the fans of the show.
RELATED ROLES:
Buzz Lightyear: "Buzz Lightyear of Star Command"
Joe Swanson: "Family Guy"
Kronk: "The Emperor's New Groove" and "Kronk's New Groove"
Farkus Bulkmeier(Bulk)-Jonah Hill
Jonah Hill is a very funny actor, and I have faith that he can handle the "slapstick" involved, and the ability to portray an @$$hole.
RELATED ROLES:
Seth: "Superbad"
Aaron Green: "Get Him to the Greek"
Eugene Skullovitch(Skull)-Michael Cera
Michael Cera has an odd sense of humor, but whatever it is, it makes him hilarious. We know he can play the "awkward, reserved teenager," and he can also portray a "bad-ass." I just think that his brand of comedy would be a welcome addition to the, already funny, character that is "Skull."
Evan: "Superbad"
Francois Dillinger: "Youth in Revolt"
PS. Just for Sh*ts and Giggles:
Ivan Ooze-Robert Englund
Besides looking quite similar to the part of "Ivan Ooze," we all know that Robert Englund can play an incredible villain.
RELATED ROLES:
Freddy Krueger: "A Nightmare on Elm Street" films
George W. Buckman: "2001 Maniacs"
