I loved HEROES a lot, I was a huge fan from begining to end. There were changes that could have been made though, some other path HEROES could have taken that would have made the series better.
Here is how I think it should have been...
SEASON 1 Genesis - Same, unchanged. I was fine the way it was.
SEASON 2 Talent - (This is were things start to change) 1 WEEK LATER
SURESH leaves NY to continue his search to look for other Special People. MOLLY leaves with the BENNETS who head out to their new home. NIKKI, D.L., and MICAH head back home to start their new lives. NATHAN never survives the explosion. PETER survives. HIRO stays in New York City to help PETER control his abilities, while PETER is grieving over the loss of NATHAN and blames SYLAR, who was pressumably dead, yet his body disappeared. MATT stays in NY recovering in the hospital after being shot by SYLAR with his own bullets.
The show then focuses on SAMUEL and his Carnival which is introduced for many episodes. The only difference about Samuel is he is not powered by his felllow Carnies, he's just powerful. We lead up to SAMUEL, saddended by his dream girl's rejection to stay with him and he completely destroys an entire city. NOAH notices the catastrophe and starts to do some research, finds out about the Carnival, and convinces HIRO, PETER, CLAIRE, NIKKI, and D.L to tag along.
SAMUEL has LYDIA(The Painted Lady) shot and killed and convinces his fellow Carnies the humans are responsible, SAMUEL convinces the Carnies to fight back. So they host a show in Central Park, NYC. PETER, HIRO, NOAH, CLAIRE, NIKKI, and D.L. find go to the Carnival and stop SAMUEL from trying to bring the city down with his abilities. SAMUEL then orders his Carnies to stop the HEROES and a whole battle begins with the HEROES vs the Carnies. D.L. dies in the fight, including many of the Carnies. PETER and SAMUEL duel it out in a Final Battle with SAMUEL's abilities, ending with PETER killing SAMUEL using SAMUEL's powers. Many of the Carnies are arrested. Just as the HEROES are about to leave without anyone noticing, an entire crowd cheers for the HEROES.
We then see a dark figure watching the entire event from a distance on a nearby rooftop. His face is revealed to be SYLAR who smiles and says "I'm back."
End Season 2
SEASON 3 Revenge - 3 DAYS lATER
SURESH is in a Hotel in Michigan who is resting after looing over notes and maps containing locatins and information about people with abilities. SYLAR finds him and kills him. He takes the maps and notes looking over a few things and finds the location of a person with abilities and leaves. CLAIRE leaves for home and takes care of her family with MOLLY. NIKKI leaves for home back to MICAH.
NOAH concerned with SURESH not answering his calls, looks for him and finally finds the hotel SURESH stayed in and finds SYLAR in the hotel room with a dead SURESH. SYLAR easily pins NOAH to the wall using his mind and asks him where CLAIRE is. NOAH refuses to talk, SYLAR then explains after he killed SURESH he looked over a few notes showing some Special people nearby and says he took one person's ability and found out he can now force a person to tell the truth just by using his mind. NOAH fights back until THE HATIAN comes in and stops SLYAR from using his abilties. NOAH falls to the ground and SLYAR and THE HATIAN fight with their minds. THE HATIAN tries to block SYLAR's abilities while SYLAR tries to use his mind to break free from his hold. SYLAR does break free in a matter of minutes and sends THE HATIAN flying out of the hotel room into the air and falls down dead on the street. SYLAR looks back at NOAH and says "Now, where were we?"
We then go to Claire who is worried about NOAH and asks MOLLY where he is. MOLLY says he's in Michigan but he's disappearing from her sight. Molly then realizes what happening and tells CLAIRE "He's dying." CLAIRE immediately calls PETER and asks him to look for NOAH. PETER takes HIRO with him and the two finally find SURESH dead and NOAH wounded in the chest in the htoel room. HIRO sees THE HATIAN outside and goes to see if he's alright. PETER tries to take care of NOAH's wounds but finds out that it's too late. NOAH grabs PETER by the shoulder and tells him that SYLAR is alive and is going after CLAIRE. NOAH weakenly says "Save my daught-" NOAH dies. HIRO goes back to PETER and tells him THE HATIAN is dead. PETER tells HIRO what happened and says they must save CLAIRE. PETER then says "Save the Cheerleader," HIRO replies back "Save the World."
PETER and HIRO agree the need more help to stop SYLAR. PETER heads to Califorina to get a head start while HIRO gets NIKKI and MATT to help. We see CLAIRE and MOLLY washing dishes when all of the sudden Molly screams. CLARIE asks what's wrong and says "He's here!", "Who?" asks CLAIRE. Molly whispers
"The Boogyman." Lights go out. CLAIRE sends Molly and family upstairs to hide while CLAIRE grabs a knife and looks for SYLAR around the house. SYLAR suprises CLAIRE by behind and grabs her by the neck and lifts her up saying "I've waited a long time for this." SYLAR begins to cut into CLAIRE's head. CLARIE screams. Suddenly PETER, HIRO, MATT, and NIKKI burst throught the front door. SYLAR drops CLAIRE who runs upstairs to safety. SYLAR looks at everyone, especially PETER adn says "You."
The HEROES and SYLAR fight. NIKKI manages to pull a round of punches on SYLAR then is wounded when SYLAR gets the jump on her. MATT tries to get into his mind but SYLAR forces him out, thrusts him out of the house, into the front yard, and gets knocked out. HIRO tries to kill SYALR with his sword. SYLAR slices the Sword in two with his abilities leaving one half of the sword (just blade and the other half handle and blade). SYLAR is about to kill HIRO when PETER punches SYLAR and begins to beat the crap out of him. SYLAR then overpowers him. SYLAR then drives his finger into PETER's head cutting accross his face, using his abilities. PETER screams in agony and pain as SYLAR does it laughing. HIRO then stabs SYLAR in the back with the broken sword (half with handle and blade). SYLAR stops and and screams and falls on his knees in pain. PETER gets a breather, looks in a mirror and notices his wound healing leaving a scar across his face.(Just like Fututre PETER) PETER then grabs the other half of the broken sword(the blade part) and looks at HIRO who nods. SYLAR looks at PETER. PETER then says "For NATHAN." and with all of his stregnth slices SYLAR's head off. PETER drops sword and says to HIRO "Yatta." HIRO bows in front of PETER. Everyone rejoins, tends to wounded, hugs.
Black screen.
3 Years Later. PETER is now in charge of a Super Team known by the world as HEROES. The team consists of PETER as the leader, CLAIRE, MOLLY and MICAH(who are now older), and HIRO(who is starting to grow a sowpatch) NIKKI is back at home with a job and a new fiance. MATT is back at home with his wife who just had a baby and are both very happy. SANDRA BENNET(NOAH's wife) is seen at a cemetary who looks upon NOAH's tombstone saying Loving father, cherished husband and honored hero. Then cut to the HEROES team with the HEROES theme music playing and SURESH's voice in the background saying "Where does it come from?" speech. After SURESH's speech ends we see the HEROES standing on a rooftop in New York City watching the horizon and words below say THE END.
HEROES title appears.
