Otherside: Spidey has had his fair share of games... but sadly most leaving a bad reputation for our favorite web slinger...
So why can't the good old wall crawler get a game that really is good, like Batman got with Batman: Arkham Asylum?
Well, a lot say Spider-man: Shattered Dimensions will be that game. Which I say, "maybe." Still even if Spider-man: Shattered Dimensions is the best Spidey game ever... it still won't be like Batman: Arkham Asylum. Not saying anything against Spider-man: Shattered Dimensions but the main problem with it is it deals with well too many Spider-men...
I really do like all the dimensions in the game but still I'd like a good game that you just play the one and only Spider-man that we all know and love... the other Spider-men are good, just not quite as good as the original, kinda like Ben Riley.
So again, how do you make a Spider-man game good? Well, this is what I'd do. Now I know a lot of you are going to say this is a Spiderized version of Batman: Arkham Asylum, but still if it's a good game who cares?
So the beginning:
Spiderman is swinging around at early evening...
When he lands on a huge New York TV screen...
And the Green Goblin starts making an announcement on it. "Calling Spider-man! Calling Spider-man!" the Goblin broadcasts, "Don't come near Ryker's Island or this night will be your worst..." Spider-man decides to go there himself anyway secretly hoping to give the Goblin a surprise. Making sure he's noticed he hitches a ride on a police helicopter on it's way over to Riker's Island. Riker's is a very high tech, but very dirty old prison, like Arkham Asylum, but more high tech. The helicopter Spider-man was riding on suddenly explodes Spider-man only just shooting a web line out in the nick of time, saving his life. Finally Spider-man see's the Green Goblin in a hologram, telling him that the guards in the helicopter are only the first few that will be dead tonight, and that he has hacked into the whole prison and taken it over, and is using the robotic sentry's to hunt him down. Spider-man is able to fight off some of the sentry's, but is forced to hide because of sheer number. These robots would be very hard to defeat, they would have lasers and would later in the game (because the Green Goblin modified them) have pumpkin bombs to shoot at you. So Spider-man figures that it would be better to take them down one by one with stealth attacks. Although if there's only 3 or so you might have a chance to over come them. But the Goblin has hacked all the security cameras so with your, new smart web shooter (kinda like a smartphone) can hack into the cameras and take over them by doing some mini games. But the whole game isn't stealth, there would be several crooks from Spidey's rogues gallery that the Green Goblin let's loose to try and kill you. (Except Venom or any other symbiote. Honestly, can't we just have one Spidey game without symbiotes?) After fighting other crooks and all the members of the Sinister Six, the Goblin turns loose the all of the Sinister Six at one time on you.
You defeat them all as the final boss, but the Green Goblin warns you, "You'll see me again soon, and next time, Spider-man, I won't be so easy on you."

Other villains
What do you think? What other villains could be used in the game? I think it might be cool to use the Green Goblin for the boss in the sequel. Please, comment below, and hang on to your web till Spider-man: Shattered Dimensions is released!
