I can actually see this as a direct-to-DVD movie with only White Queen and Cable/Stryfe having to be big time stars. No matter if it’s DVD or theatres my Warpath and Thunderbird would have to be the same. But for the sake of an interesting fancast I've gone wth famous, reletively well-known actors.

My own story based on Warpath’s history.

After the death of Thunderbird (James Proudstar) during a battle alongside the X-Men, John, his younger brother, seeks vengeance on the man he blames for his brother’s death, Professor Charles Xavier. In seeking revenge he is taken in by a seductive vixen who shares his hatred for the professor. Emma Frost, or as Professor X, her nemesis, has come to know her, the White Queen, manipulates the angry and confused mutant into forming a faction alongside herself and another young, confused mutant codenamed Magma and attacking the mansion in which the professor and his students reside. Donning a costume patterned after his brother, yet sharper, he is codenamed Warpath. As the trio attacks the school after creating a distraction, thus eliminating most of the X-Men, they are confronted by the remaining members. Professor X and Banshee, a member of the team during Thunderbird’s 1st mission and his fatal, 2nd mission, have stayed behind with the semi-experienced, youngest X-Man, Shadowcat and the mysterious new trainee, Shatterstar. Upon entering the campus, Frost and Xavier do battle in the astral plain and in a knock-down-drag-out fight the others clash as well. As Xavier is about to subdue Frost and assist his students, he is drawn out of the plain by a knife to his side. Warpath has the opportunity to deliver a killing blow and accomplish his goal, in part, thanks to Frost, whose own telepathic powers are strong enough to deter the injured Xavier’s power. He backs down and tosses the wheelchair-bound headmaster and leaves his mentor and partner to go back home to his tribe, more confused than ever. Feeling that he can best honor his brother by living a normal life amongst his tribe, he is able to make peace with the events up to this point. Some time later Professor X telepathically requests John to join a militaristic off-shoot of the X-Men called X-Force. He is content, but given his past actions he wants to deliver his “thanks, but no thanks” in person. While he speaks with Cable and Domino, captain and co-captain respectively his entire tribe his brutally slaughtered. Without answers he once again seeks revenge. He confronts Frost who explains she has nothing to do with it and is actually scared for her one-time apprentice, noting he should be rational and think with a clear head. He finds his answer in the form of a sleazy deviant who calls himself Sledge who sends the mutant Risque to seduce and trick him. It is questionable whether she falls for him or not. He tells Warpath that he knows where the only other survivor of his tribe is hiding and he will have the answers. However, Sledge will only give up his location if Warpath can enter the Darkforce Dimension and retrieve the mutant known as Vanisher, who has been captured by those who inhabit the Darkforce. He goes and before he can rescue the mutant he must defeat the Coyote, who, after reading his mind, has taken the shape of his brother. After a psychological battle in which he wins, he returns and finds the survivor’s location. Come to find out, it was Stryfe, an enemy of Cable who was trying to break the spirit of his possible recruits to prevent the formation of the X-Force. Members Cable, Domino, Shatterstar and Warpath find him and defeat him. End The following is derived from wiki.

Michael Spears as Thunderbird
John Proudstar was born into an Apache tribe. As a teenager, Proudstar discovered he possessed the mutant abilities of superhuman senses, strength, speed, stamina, and sturdiness. He was recruited by Professor Charles Xavier to join his X-Me. He agreed and assumed the superhero codename "Thunderbird." He assisted the other X-Men in rescuing the original X-Men from Krakoa the mutant island. Thunderbird and the X-Men battled the Ani-Men. Thunderbird leaped onto an airplane that was carrying Count Nefaria. Despite the urging of Banshee, Thunderbird refused to get off the plane. The plane exploded, killing Proudstar.

Eddie Spears ( actual brothers) as Warpath – I chose a younger Warpath to express his confusion and imature, impulsive behavior. I was going to cast the older Adam Beach but, seeing as how both he and his brother are famous, I think this works out better
An Apache Native American, Proudstar possesses mutant superhuman strength and speed, like his older brother, the short-lived X-Man Thunderbird, though Warpath's power-levels are much higher.

Rachel Miner as White Queen—I almost chose January Jones, not realizing she was already cast in 1st Class/Fist A$$
From her initial appearance as the White Queen, Frost appeared as an X-Men villain over the years. She frequently appeared in Uncanny X-Men and the original volume of the New Mutants alongside her Hellions. She engineers a contest between the New Mutants and Hellions, and recruits Magma for the Massachusetts Academy. She battles the High Evolutionary's forces to rescue Magma. Since her introduction, Emma’s mutant power is telepathy. She is capable of extraordinary psionic feats, including the telepathic standards of: broadcasting and receiving thoughts, mind-control, altering perceptions and memories, psychic shielding, astral projection, mind switching, brain engram modification, mental sedation, and induction of mental pain via touch.. She rivals the abilities of Charles Xavier himself.

Ron Perlman as Cable/Stryfe- as much as I like both Beihn and more-so Scott Lang I didn’t want to copy another’s idea so I came up with him. Cable’s a big,gGruff dude
With the aid of Domino, Cable reorganized the New Mutants into X-Force. The X-Force series provided further detail for the character's back story revealing that he was from the future and that he had traveled to the past with the aim of stopping Stryfe's plans as well as preventing Apocalypse's rise to power. Stryfe is a clone of Cable w/o the techno-organic virus

Daniel Craig as Professor X – I know it’s out there but I wanted a strong Xaveir since he was going to be fighting
Xavier is paraplegic, although his body houses one of the world's most powerful mutant minds. As a high-level telepath, Xavier can read, control and influence human minds. He founded Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters (later named the Xavier Institute) to teach mutants to explore and control their powers. Its first group of students were the original X-Men.

Lara Amersery as Risque
Risque has to send a message to Warpath intimating that she has knowledge regarding the Camp Verde massacre. She meets Warpath in New York, where she introduces herself to him from the shadows, plants a kiss on his lips, and leaves. She takes James to Florida and they fall for each other. Risque finally fulfills her "mission" by slipping a sleeping pill into Jimmy's drink. She takes him to Sledge's junkyard in Detroit, Michigan. There, Sledge offers Warpath information concerning his tribe's murder in exchange for a favor of his own.

Jon Polito as Sledge
A manipulative devient with his hands in many different affairs which serve to benefit mainly himself.

Taylor Momsen as Magma
Amara discovers her powers when she is thrown into a lava pool as a human sacrifice during a violent conflict. Amara re-emerges with super-human powers, demanding vengeance.

Rhonna Mitra as Domino- I had this once before and liked it
Domino stayed with X-Force for most of its existence, becoming its de facto leader when Cable left the team on several occasions. Domino is a mutant with the ability to subconsciously and psionically initiate random telekinetic acts that affect probability in her favor by making improbable (but not impossible) things to occur within her line of sight, thus causing her to have "good luck" and her opponents to have "bad luck." This "probability field" phenomenon can be anything from an enemy's equipment failure to hitting just the right switch with a stray shot to shut down an overloading nuclear reactor. The full extent of her powers is still unknown.

Norman Reedus as Banshee – there is no more badass Irishman than Mr. Boondock Saints
Xavier approaches Banshee to join his second group of X-Men and Banshee accepts. After the mission at Krakoa, Banshee remains with Xavier and, along with Cyclops, Storm, Wolverine, Colossus, Nightcrawler, and Thunderbird, becomes a part of the first core team of "New X-Men." Banshee accompanies the team on many different missions and is present for several key moments in the X-Men's history. Banshee can produce a sonic scream for various effects. He can hover or fly at the speed of sound.

Charlie Hunnam as Shatterstar
Shatterstar was either teleported or traveled back in time to Earth at the point just before Cable reorganized the New Mutants into X-Force. With Cable's assurance that they would help him defeat Mojo, Shatterstar became a founding member of the new team, X-Force. Shatterstar possesses an overall superhuman level of physical and mental power (senses, strength, speed, reflexes/reactions, agility, flexibility, dexterity, coordination, balance, endurance, intelligence), as a result of the extra-dimensional genetic engineering that created him.

Doug Jones as Vanisher – I wanted to radically different looking bald men. With the sqaure-jawed Craig as X I opted for the ultra thin Jones as Vanisher. I also went a bit older as compared to the majority of the resat of the cast as he has been around since issue 2.
At some point, the Vanisher seeks to understand his powers in greater detail. He visits the Darkforce dimension but is captured by its inhabitants. They force him to read them stories. He is rescued by X-Force's Warpath, who had been manipulated into performing the mission. The Vanisher is a mutant that possesses the ability to teleport himself, his clothes, and an as yet undetermined amount of additional mass. Apparently the Vanisher traverses the Darkforce dimension when teleporting from one place on Earth to another.

Cool stuff AGER@!

I like Michae Biehn for Cable instead of
THE PERLMAN, tho'. Michael looks more like the
Comics Cable. Ron doesn't look like him at all.

Like the others said, the SHATTERSTAR pick
is badazz!

Nice White Queen choice and The Brothers
Spears were BORN to play the PROUDSTAR BROS.

thanks guys. i hear ya about Perlman. though i would rather Lang over Biehn. he looks bigger. but really if any 3 ever were id be happy. i just wanted to come up with an original. i had Shadowcat in there but switched her out for Shatterstar as the "cool" character i hoped people would get excited about!! and i figured hes a better fit in a fight scene

I hear where you're coming from with wanting
'originality' Ager@! Ain't nothing wrong with
originality and if Perlman were to play Cable I
would be just fine with it! Pearlman is one
of the best character actors on the planet!
