Potter vs Narnia which is a better, more enjoyable franchise? I've not really seen either, but Narnia seems to have underdog status!

ManhuntersBastardChild @ As much as I don't like the first NARIA much, the second one was pretty awesome... so NARNIA!

Talking NARIA, check out this JLA EARTH 2 casting:

Potter and Narnia are actually really different. Thematically, stylistically, tonally. It's like comparing the Conan stories to the Lord of the Rings, almost. There just different animals.

I've only read a few of each series, but I'd say Potter is better a building suspense, and Narnia is better for a younger audience.

I have, however, read almost everything else by C.S. Lewis and the guy is a genius. One of my favorite writers of all time. Right up there with Pratchett and Crichton.

hah, agreed. Pretty awful films. I can't believe they are still churning em out actually. His Dark Materials cut its loses with The Golden Compass!

When did this site become general movie and entertainment info? That's all we seem to get lately. I thought there was supposed to be comic book movie news? This, Pirates of the Caribbean, TRON, James Bond, Megashark vs. Crocosaurus, Michael Bay and lingerie and Anne Rice. And that's just on the CURRENT Main Page...

Well, I actually agree with you that the main is currently looking decidedly uncomicbooky! But we always cover a range of Sci Fi and fantasy stuff too, especially if real CBM news is slow..and it has been VERY slow
