Let The Battle Commence! Warner Bros. And Hasbro Face Off Over DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS

According to Deadline, Warner Bros. have already run into troule with their planned big screen take on Dungeons and Dragons due to the fact that Hasbro claim to own the rights and already have the project set up at rival studio, Universal. THEY want it to be helmed by Chris Morgan, the writer responsible for the last five films in The Fast And The Furious franchise and 47 Ronin. While Warner Bros. refused to comment, they're reportedly not backing down and still plan on moving ahead with their version written by Wrath of the Titans' David Leslie Johnson. Hasbro spokesman Wayne Charness says, "Hasbro owns the intellectual property rights to Dungeons & Dragons, period, because of Hasbro’s acquisition of Wizards Of The Coast in 1998." What this means is that before the iconic board game can be brought to life on the big screen, the studios will have their own battle in the form of an arbitration hearing. Stay tuned for further updates!
