Disney (via EW) has debuted the first offcial image from their upcoming sequel to the 1964 classic, Mary Poppins Returns.

The follow-up will feature the ageless magical nanny (this time played by Emily Blunt) making her way back to Cherry Tree Lane to visit with the now adult Jane and Michael Banks (Emily Mortimer and Ben Whishaw) after the latter suffers a personal loss.

The pic provides a teasing first glimpse of Blunt as Poppins, whose updated outfit has a very Agent Carter look to it.

The all-star cast of Mary Poppins Returns also includes Angela Lansbury, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, and Julie Walters. Plus, Dick Van Dyke is expected to make a featured appearance as Bert. The sequel is set to fly into theaters on Dec. 25, 2018.

Doug Liman worked with her on Live.Die. Repeat..

Blunt is 34
Affleck is 44

Bruce let's say was 16-18 when he learned from Zatannas father.
Zatanna let's say was 9-10 when Bruce learned from her Father.

Carry the one...

...Yep works for me!

Get mrs. Blunt in Dark Universe please!

@IronGenesis - I think that would work really well. Dan, how I would love the JL Dark to become reality....
Also, 'blunt', 'dark', 'universe'....There's the beginnings of a euphemism there, somewhere. Answers on a postcard to Nate!

@IronGenesis - dude none of that age sh*t mattters. At all. As long as you reasonably look the age you're supposed to look, its fine.

I'm 20 years old. A guy laughed at me the other day at the shisha bar I went to because I asked if he wanted to see my ID. After he'd already asked my friend for his. He was that sure of himself that I was an adult and was way older than 18.

It's easy to fake it. Especially if you have a million make-up artists.

@CrappyNappy - dude...you cant have a 20 year old actress standing next to 45 year old bruce wayne and then say, "bruce and zatanna were childhood friends."

@IronGenesis - If you age her up, you could 100% do that. None of the movie business is real. It's all about LOOKING the part. You can make her look a little older and then tell the audience that she's 30 or 35. No one will know. More importantly people won't care.

That was my point

Look... Mary you're looking fit n' all but I just lost my wife, had to move back in with my sis into our dead parents old rottin' house do you really think you can fix that with a prance and a song? My parents were right, you're an absolute nutter.

I assume is a line from this.

@MasterMix - She should have been Captain Marvel, not the current plain Jane SJW.

So why does this get to be a sequel when Pete's Dragon had to suffer a remake?

Amy Adams should've played her.

With Brown hair she looks more like Julia Andrews, and her voice gives itself to sound like hers more than Blunt's
