Morena Baccarin first came to the attention of fans when she stole the show in Firefly and big screen follow-up Serenity. Since then, she's received a great deal of acclaim for starring in the first few seasons of Homeland and shown up in a number of popular comic book adaptations, including Gotham, The Flash, and Deadpool. However, when will we get to see the actress finally take on a leading role?
That remains to be seen but during a recent interview, the Deadpool 2 star was quizzed on whether or not she'd like to play a superhero on the big screen. Interestingly, Baccarin said that she's not particularly interested in being a hero and instead has her eye on a few classic Batman villains.
The interview is in Portuguese but the gist of her remarks is that she would be interested in suiting up as either Poison Ivy or Catwoman. Baccarin would be perfect for either one of those characters and they're villains fans would no doubt love to see the actress play; after all, she certainly looks the part, has the sexy swagger those two are known for, and is extremely talented.
