First Look At SPARTACUS Star Manu Bennett As Deathstroke On ARROW

Thanks to Huffington Post TV, we've got our first look at Deathstroke's alter-ego, Slade Wilson. Wilson will be portrayed by Manu Bennett, known as Crixus on Starz's Spartacus. Episode 13 of Arrow will see the debut of Bennett as Deathstroke as he and Oliver must "form an uneasy alliance on the island of Lian Yu". What do you think of Bennett's costume? Sound off below.

"Betrayal": Cyrus Vanch (Anders), a nefarious criminal, is recently released from prison and intends to re-secure his position as leader of the underworld. His first step is to take down his biggest opponent in the city –- Arrow (Amell). Meanwhile, Oliver shows Moira (Susanna Thompson) his father’s notebook and questions her about the names on the list. Thea (Willa Holland) is miserable as she starts her internship with Laurel (Katie Cassidy) at the legal aid office and Detective Lance (Paul Blackthorne) makes a deadly mistake that puts Laurel in the crosshairs of Vanch. David Ramsey and Colin Donnell also star. Guy Bee directed the episode written by Lana Cho & Beth Schwartz

I haven't checked out this show yet, but that doesn't look like Slade to me. But then, that doesn't look like Ollie either. *sigh*

Maybe he'll get an arrow in the eye? I hope?

Yes YES Y-E-S. Freakin' love Manu Bennette on Spartacus. Crixus is my absolute favourite character. I don't watch Arrow, but I'm going to start if it means him doing another character justice with his awesomeness.

This should be interesting :)

Hopefully before this season ends the writers of the show can find a way to give a decent conclusion to not only Ollie's story in the show but also Deathstroke's story as well. So we can see the man behind the mask and what could possibly lead to the comics.

I'm ok with him not having white hair or his classic beard. This version of Slade Wilson looks more in line with the rest of the show. He looks more hardened and deposed. Seems like maybe Edward Fyers abandoned him on the island and now he and Ollie must work together to survive that or they team up against Edward. The plot is thickening everyone!!!

damn i was expecting him to be more Slade-like.. no gray hair:( no goatee :( dull outfit, okay the mask is cool but still meh..

They should have set the entire first season with him on the island. It's by far the most interesting thing about the show. Some of the post-island is good but the villains are horribke and one dimensional and there is a lot of forced drama at times.

Still I like the show overall, just wished the individual episodes were as strong as the season arc they have been building.
