GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 Concept Art And Photos Offer Up A Look At A Green Skinned Mantis
Some more concept art for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has found its way online this evening and it reveals a comic book accurate take on Pom Klementieff's Mantis with some glorious green skin...
When Mantis was first introduced, she has pale skin, but years later, the character was given a green coloured makeover. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 director James Gunn has said on numerous occasions that he decided to go with her original look rather than making her the same colour as Gamora, but new concept art and photos reveal that this appearance was at least considered.
As you can see, it gives Pom Klementieff a more otherworldly and alien look, something which could have changed how fans reacted to her. Many would have preferred this look, of course, but it's fair to say that the one we got worked and definitely didn't have a negative impact on the hero in any way. What do you guys think?
