Talking to Collider about Conan the Barbarian, in which he plays the father of the Cimmerian, Ron Perlman was asked about whether or not will we ever see a third Hellboy film. Many fans are still hoping for the final chapter in the planned trilogy, and in the video below, Perlman talks about the story and where would it go if they ever move forward with it, of course. Hellboy part is at the end:

Ah hellboy.. I remember when hellboy 1 came out. I happen to pass by a comicbook shop as he was leaving. People were taking photos with their camera phone. I didnt have one at the time and so i did the only next best thing i could. I stared at him intensely as he got into his cab. He saw me too! Though i think i freaked him out..but he might remember me.

Ya i thought the first two were good films but it seemed like they were both in different directions, 1st one was more dark and grounded in religion-ish type things, and the 2nd had elves and trolls and all that fantasy shat, so i wonder how the third would go

Leo Howard is my choice for a Robin, young Dick Grayson or Tim Drake.

Hellboy 1 had a great plot, Hellboy 2 didn't. It needs a good story, all the rest is gold. Guillermo del Toro is an outstanding director. Perlman gives 100% to every project he works on. If it takes time, but produces another great movie - I'm willing to wait.
