GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE Spoilers - Here's What Happens In The Movie's Post-Credit Scenes

Ghostbusters: Afterlife features two post-credits scenes, and while one is really just a nice little character moment, the other definitely appears to set up a sequel. Major spoilers follow...

Ghostbusters: Afterlife is now playing in theaters (you might have to wait until tomorrow in certain locations), so we're taking a closer look at some of the long-awaited sequel's biggest moments. Here, we break down what happens in the supernatural adventure's post-credits scenes.

If you haven't watched Afterlife yet, beware of massive spoilers from this point on.

Like a lot of major franchise tentpoles these days, Afterlife has a mid and post-credits stinger. The first focuses on Winston Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson), who is now a wealthy businessman. Following the events of the movie's climactic battle (more on that here), Winston meets with Janine Melnitz (Annie Potts) for a catch-up. He tells her that he's been paying the rent on Ray Stantz's (Dan Aykroyd) occult store and funding his research, before strongly hinting that he plans to return to the Ghostbusting business.

We then see Winston in the old firehouse, as ECTO-1 pulls in to the garage. We don't know if Ray and Peter Venkman (Billy Murray) will be joining him, but it certainly looks like the plan is for Zeddemore to train-up a new team for the inevitable follow-up.

The next scene is really just an excuse to bring Sigourney Weaver back (we'll take it), as we see Dana Barrett testing Peter with the cards he was using in the character's introduction from the original movie. She shocks him when he gets one wrong, and Venkman then admits that he really only used the cards as a means to pick up women.

It's a fun little moment, though it does feel like it might be a sendoff for Peter and Dana.

Have you guys been to see Ghostbusters: Afterlife yet? If so, what did you make of the post-credit sequences? Drop us a comment down below, and check out our review of the movie here.

If anything, it feels more like a set up for a tv show than another movie really. Think a tv show would work better too

Aykroyd’s original script ended with Winston running Ghostbusters so it’s a pretty cool nod to the franchise’s overall history.

Why did you have to make two separate articles when putting this in your last one would have been fine?!? Not enough clicks lately so you gotta drag shit out over two short articles?
