The trades have revealed which actresses are being eyed for the four lead roles in the planned Ghostbusters reboot, with director Paul Feig later tweeting a photo seemingly confirming their involvement?
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Melissa McCarthy (Mike & Molly) has officially signed up to take on a leading role in the Ghostbusters reboot. Joining her will be Kristen Wiig (The Secret Life of Walter Mitty), and Saturday Night Live stars Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon. The latter three are said to still be in negotiations, but the Tweet below from director Paul Feig seemingly confirms that they're in! McCarthy and Wiig are no strangers to working together and with the filmmaker after Bridesmaids. Jones meanwhile can be seen in Chris Rock's Top Five, and McKinnon was nominated for an Emmy for her SNL work. How do you guys feel about this all-female cast of Ghostbusters?
