Check Out A Life-Size IRON MAN Suit... Made Of Cardboard!

It's rare that we get to see such talent here on CBM, but a certain young man from Taiwan by the name of Kai-Xiang Xhong has created a masterpiece of Iron Man's armor, entirely out of cardboard. So check out the pictures, and watch the video embedded below to see some of his other great works!

Here is what Kai-Xiang said about the production of the suit: "I used pepakura technique. But I did not add any special color on the surface. Keeping the cardboard color and texture was deliberate. That's my style."

I remember I saw this one dude who made, like.. a mini-bust of Iron Man out of empty beer cans. I looked at it, and thought "well, why the f*ck not? It's not like I can sleep". Yeah..

Didn't work out for me. Shit's harder than it looks.

This is really awesome! I had to create 3-d models out of cardboard and chip board in architecture school and I didn't have enough time to do something that intricate but props to him.

The ironman suit is very accurate and the fact that u can wear it makes it even more Impressive. His work is very artistic, especially the dragon and dinosaurs.

And for those who says this is a waste of time, creating cardboard sculptures is this guy's way of creating art and cardboard is his medium because he said he doesn't have the money for other mediums. Cardboard is usually free.

Some would say A waste of time is coming to this site 100 times a day to read about comic book movies, which some of us do myself included.

To each their own....
