It has already been revealed that
Iron Man 2 will show audiences a different side of Tony Stark; namely, flashback scenes of his youth. Today, Comicus.com has released a brief interview with child actor Davin Ransom, who landed the role of young Tony Stark in this summer's superhero adventure.
How did you get involved with this movie? I was an extra and got bumped up to a speaking role. How much time did you pass on the set? What can you tell us about director Jon Favreau? I was on the set for one day to film. Yes, I got to meet Jon and he was really nice to work for. He gave me an Iron Man 2 director's medal and I have it in a special place in my bedroom. What impressed you the most about the Iron Man 2 set? Lots of cameras, and cool equipment! I got to see where Iron Man will fly. Everyone was very nice to me too. >Do you read comic books? Were you familiar with Iron Man before the movie? I read comic books with my dad and I knew about Iron man so I was very excited when my mom told me I was going to get to be in a movie with Iron man. What about the actors who played the roles of your parents? I only got to work with the man who played my dad [John Slattery] and he was very nice to me. I never got to meet my [movie] mom on set. Iron Man 2 is scheduled for domestic release May 7th, 2010.
