As i got the paper today, i caught a small article claiming people seeing Will Smith and G. Mac Brown at Kennedy Space Center checking the place out and claiming its for the upcoming third installment of "Men In Black". He is WORD-FROM-WORD from the article...
"As 'Transformers 3' wraps up shooting in Brevard County in the next few days, another blockbuster could be waiting in the wings.
Actor Will Smith and executive producer G. Mac Brown were at the Kennedy Space Center recently, checking out the area, as they develop story lines for 'Men In Black 3'.
Space Coast Film Commissioner Bonnie King said they were there on a 'Fact-finding mission'
King said she hopes the makers of 'Men In Black 3' select Brevard County to shoot some of there scenes, but added that 'nothing is written in stone' on that prospect. The 3-D movie is expected to begin overall filming later this year, with a release in May 2012.
'Men In Black' released in 1997, and 'Men In Black 2' released in 2002, were sci-fi comedies that starred Smith and Tommy Lee Jones and featured their battles against aliens.
The film industry website Box Office Mojo lists worldwide box office revenue at $589.4 million for 'Men In Black' and $441.8 million for 'Men In Black 2'.
King said representation of yet another major film, which she declined to identify, also recently scouted Brevard County, as they plan their filming locations.
She said new state financial incentives for filmmakers working in Flordia- including a transferable text credit program that began July 1st- have boosted interest in filming along the Space Coast."
I AM SOO EXCITED TO SEE IF MIB3 WILL BE JUST DOWN THE STREET FROM ME!!! I CANNOT BEGIN TO TELL YOU!! HELL YEAH!!! and im sooooooo interested in what "major film" was also scouting the county for film locations. I being a resident in town, im keeping my eyes peeled for anything "out of the ordinary".. As transformers 3 is being filming just a few blocks from me, i wish i could catch Bumble Bee or Prime cruising down the street or something out my window....
