TOYS: Alfred And John Blake TDKR Action Figures

Check out the first (low quality) look at some figures baring the likeness of Michael Caine's Alfred, and Joseph Gordon Levitt's mysterious John Blake from The Dark Knight Rises. We also have a look at the toy packaging..

Not the most exciting of action figures, but it's nice to know people will have the chance to play with the supporting characters as well! Perhaps more interestingly, we also have confirmation that Movie Masters will be producing a "secret figure" based on the movie. Any ideas who that might be?

Christopher Nolan returns to complete the Gotham trilogy that launched with Batman Begins and reached the stratosphere with the billion dollar blockbuster The Dark Knight. Inception's Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt join the cast regulars along with Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle (aka Catwoman) and Tom Hardy as the powerful villain Bane. Christian Bale prowls the night as the Caped Crusader, fighting crime and corruption with the help of Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman and Gary Oldman

The Dark Knight Rises will be with us July 20th

It's Ras. The TDKR Facebook Group got a scoop about Ras being a secret toy amongst the ones just announced in this article back in December, and they were right. Not known if it's Young or Old Ras yet

"secret figure" pffft!!!

JGL is going to play Azrael, or a Nolan version. Just like the events of knightfall (Catwoman also stars in this)

Bane is going to break batman's back, and JGL the 'only other honest cop' is going to take up the mantle of batman, but then go nuts and kill people, so bruce is going to have to find the lazarus pit to heal himself (bring in talia and ras al ghul) and he's going to kick JGLs ass.

If we remember, no one knew until right at the last minute that two face was going to be in TDR.

Nolan loves his 4th quarter villains. All the footage we've seen? all the leaks? All misdirection to keep us from guessing what will be an epic end to a batman movie - Batman vs. Batman

NOLANITE Do you like Batman, or just Nolan's "law & Order" take on him? Cause if you are a "fan" of the comics, you'd be the last to say that the Avengers are the "Costumed Freaks," seeing as how Batman is the *freak (* i.e., The Killing Joke, etc.) Your just asinine level ironically retarded, it's [frick]ed up dumbasses like you that give Nolan the laughable title as, "Visionary Director," You reject a Faithful adaptation like The Avengers, quoting it is shit, when in fact, it is exactly like it's comic book counter-part, while Nolan brainwashes you into thinking Batman: Criminal Intent is like the comic. Pffft!

This.

Is the equivalent to this?

Bane (DC Comics) Pictures, Images and Photos

While the "costume freaks" are stupid, when they are compared to their comic counter-part, God you are [frick]ing vapid.
avprom[1]
Avengers 1

I fail to realize what makes Nolan's Batman films past Begins so Uncanning amazing. [frick]ing stupid follower.

@ All the Nolan worshiper's!

batfan175 Never to old! Playing with my bad-ass Marvel Legends help me write some cool fan fic and sketch some wicked poses. Sure the GF may think to herself, "I let this retarded geek put his tongue in my mouth, worse, i return the favor?" But hey, she's still here, lol.

well said gambitfreak, but come on?
we should all be proud this year is full of comic book movies!
DCnerd46
DCnerd46 - 3/8/2012, 3:26 PM
John Blake is a totally unnecessary character, Harvey Bullock would have been much more interesting. Nolan creates half these characters just to collaborate w/ the same actors over & over again.

@TheGambitFreak 100% agree, well said
