Giving CBM a forum.

Hello all.

My last article got deleted, as I thought it would be, given it was a topic more suited for a forum. I tried giving it a shot as a topic in "chat", but nada.

So, I ask you, has CBM had a forum before? If it did, why was it removed?

If it has never had one, why not? I think some subjects could be better discussed on a forum, rather than the sporadic "chat".

What say you CBM?

(Just so you know this isn't a complaint, simply a question)

We had a forum before. And it was a dead space.

Only been there twice though. When I first joined and another random time.

There is no need for it since the comment sections are so active. But we could use a reply button

I agree on the reply button so as to avoid confusion.

We should be able to thumb down articles, instead of just thumbs up.
We should also get a thumbs up and thumbs down option on comments.
A few people in chat also expressed interest in being able to see when chat comments were posted.
Also, it wouldn't hurt to bring back troll badges.
As for a forum, I think comments and chat are so active that a forum in unnecessary.

@whoa123,

It would help, but people use @ to address people all the time.

@AgentZero,

I see. The comments section is indeed active (both good and bad :/), and a reply button would be great, but I'm trying to find something and someone that's related to the comments section, but without knowing who they are for sure a reply button would be useless. Starting a topic on a forum would get people's attention.

@ABARy

1. Agree.

2. Agree.

3. Sounds reasonable.

4. Agree.

5. True, but we can't really directly address people, and chat is all over the place.
