About CROSSOVER BATTLES:
They are a series of weekly articles on this site in which I take two different characters from two different universes and you vote/discuss the winner within the comments below! Whoever has the most supporters wins. The results are posted the following week along with the following Battle.
In last week's 2014 Mid-Year finale, the leader of the Justice League clashed with the leader of the Avengers in a battle which only one could win. After a long drawn out debate amongst my fellow comic book fans, we finale have a winner. I must say, there were some pretty good points from both sides of the debate, but there is, unfortunately, no second place.
And the winner is....
*Drum Role*
...CAPTAIN AMERICA!!!
The sentinel of liberty and defender of the innocent, Steve Rogers takes the cake as the final winner of CROSSOVER BATTLES 2014 Round 1. Rogers, you just defeated The Batman in arm to arm combat. If that doesn't rid you of your modesty, nothing will.
Round 2 of CROSSOVER BATTLES 2014 will start sometime between July and Mid-August. Thanks for participating.

Welcome, I am Darkknight2149. I am primarily a fan of comic books and their various adaptations, as well as horror and other classic film franchises.
As far as the "DC vs. Marvel" rivalry goes, I'm really not biased when it comes to studios and publishers. Preferences are fine, but I've never understood the basing of opinions purely by the studio/publisher that makes it.
