T-Rex: The Dinosaur that you ARE afraid of.

The velociraptor is one of the big ones that paleontologists said had feathers. Plus the real one was only three feet tall. They used the name Velociraptor instead of Deinonychus because they thought it was cooler sounding. The Deinonychus is the creature you really are seeing in the Jurassic Park movies.

I hope that the dinosaurs won't be having muzzels. Hopefully that is just for transporting them. Because you don't see Tigers a at the zoo with one on. So why can't dinosaurs be the same.

looks cool. I hope they use more practical effects this time. A mix of practical and some CGI instead of Just CGI make the best looking effects.

I love the practical effects. It has a better real sensation then CGI. A good mix is the best part of tv nowadays. He looks great. I doubt they will use feathers. I believe they were mostly found on the actual velociraptor (3 ft), which someone pointed out earlier.

Love practical effects!!! If practical effects can be used effectively, I'm all for it per cgi. In this case, PE works better for some of these dinosaurs

I could care less for the feathers. Scientifically accurate, cheesy nonetheless. Im so pumped for less cgi, between this and j.j's way of making movies like they used to be gives me nipples hardness ya Mon

Screw the Raptors I'd like that spitting dino to make a come back

Quick dumb question:
Is this Jurassic World as in the World has gone Jurassic? or World as in Disney World?
Supes17
Supes17 - 7/7/2014, 2:28 PM
Guess what? All the Jurassic Park Dinos are genetically modified. They could use that to explain their lack of feathers

T-Rex babies had feathers. They probably shed them before adulthood as skin imprints have been found and they have a pebbly, typical reptilian hide.

It's a new trilogy. Shouldn't it be called Cretascious World?

Sigh, the real velociraptors were about the size of s large turkey and feathered. I think the general concensus is that Therapods are the most likely saurian group to have feathers. The JP raptors are closer to being a deinonychus or a small Utahraptor.

I want to see ankylosaurs and watch people get chased by a baryonyx. I want to see a group of Amargasaurs and styracosaurs. I want to reach out and pet a protoceratops.

It looks as good as it did in the first movie. I am actually really looking forward to this movie. I can't wait to see the dinosaurs on screen again.

I like the feathers. I feel like it makes them seem like the missing link between birds of prey and leathery alligators.
Floke
Floke - 7/7/2014, 2:55 PM
I wonder if they will call them deinonychus this time instead of calling them velociraptors, witch is a smaller dinosaur that never actually been in any JP-movie...
