This movie has to have the record for number of releases in different versions on different formats. From VHS to Laser Disc to DVD to Blu-ray and now 4K. And theirs been Director's Cut, Extended Cut, Xtreme editions, etc. Amazing.

The movie I have seen more than any other, had nightmares about the T1000 for years afterwards. Still feel the tension and am engrossed everytime I watch it, even though I know what's coming.
Even though I know they beat the T1000, I am still on the edge of my seat when I watch that last act.

In moments like these I wish I had a 4K TV.

But in reality I only have a small TV monitor for my PS4...

Some day I might get this on 4K BR!

How many times do they expect us to buy this movie over our lifetime? Seriously, this is the only movie that has seemingly endless re-releases on video.

@Luminus - If you're happy with the copy you own then don't buy it. Some of us are video/audiophiles and enjoy appreciate the studios re-releases classic films to take advantage of the latest tech (in this case 4K HDR) so we can enjoy our favorite movies in the highest quality possible.

This is key, read carefully;

"Say “hasta la vista, baby” to SD and relive each quintessential moment in four times the resolution with Full HD and High Dynamic Range on the film’s first-ever 4K scan."

First off, '"Hasta la vista, baby" to SD'
Pretty sure [in general] we haven't been watching films in SD (standard definition) for a couple of decades now. (talking about starting low and exaggerating your case^^).

Secondly: Note it says Full HD - which is 1080P ((1920×1080),-NOT 4K (3840 pixels × 2160).

It says it is a 4K scan of the original negative (which is fine) - but the result is a great Full HD cut (1080p) NOT a 4K cut. It may be tinkered with to enhance HDR (high dynamic range) on the resulting cut - but make no mistake, this is NOT an authentically 4K film, artificially enhanced to be the best it can be with 4k scanning technology it is, but don't fall for the misleading advertising. It's bullshit.
