While 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming wasn't beloved by all,  some taking issue with the level of involvement fellow MCU hero Tony Stark had in the film, few can argue that Tom Holland didn't deliver a note-perfect portrayal of the wall-crawling superhero. His youthful exuberance, endearing earnest, and lovable humor was a far cry from the blubbering and or moody portrayals of the character previously made by Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

Now the character's co-creator and comic book legend Stan Lee has chimed in and while he, of course, has nothing bad to say about the previous actors to inhabit the role, his praise for Holland is quite high.

Tom Holland is set to reprise the role in Avengers 4 on 3rd May 2019, and then in his second Spider-Man solo outing set to hit theatres July 5, 2019.

What do you think? Do you agree with Stan? Is Tom Holland your favorite Spider-Man? Who do you think would have been a better choice? Leave your thoughts below.
