We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead. It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp...

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be directed by Marc Webb from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner and James Vanderbilt. The film will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as Aunt May, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Jamie Foxx is Electro and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn. The Amazing Spider-Man sequel will swing into theaters May 2, 2014.

concept art looks exactly like the movie footage. I think the cgi in the movie is too video game like. When I watch that part in the movie, it felt comp. generated. Best CGI is when you actually believe it. e.g rise of the planet of the apes, gravity, etc.

This movie was really good, but the whole peter parker searching for answers about his parents went on way too long and took away from other characters screen time that needed it like harry osborns. They did not even wrap up or mention anything about uncle bens killer, I guess he was never found, but it would be funny funny if that guy who shot uncle ben turned out to Mac Gargan aka scorpion in future installments.

Better yet, would Peter really have needed to sneak into Oscorp in TASM if he knew his dad's boss and was best friends with his son?

how many messages from dead people does this kid have and need?

Why would Oscorp build a Rhino shaped suit or choose Alexei of all people to pilot it?

Why did Oscorp murder the Parkers, frame Harry Osborn, cover up Max Dillon's accident but stop looking for Gwen as soon as she left the building?

Why do we need an exposition J.A.R.V.I.S?

I dont hate this film but I'm not a fan of Webb's style, he seems to get caught up in the wrong things. Would have been cool if the new suit was adopted specifically to fight with Electro

Interesting concept art.

Too bad the film did not live up to the hype.

I loved the movie. People decrying it are likely just bitter that it didn't happen exactly the way "they would have done it." If you don't like it, get your ass to Hollywood.
