Garfield briefly spoke to Details about the difficulty of his upcoming role:

"I see it as a massive challenge in many ways....To make it authentic. To make the character live and breathe in a new way. The audience already has a relationship with many different incarnations of the character. I do, as well. I'm probably going to be the guy in the movie theater shouting abuse at myself. But I have to let that go. No turning back. And I wouldn't want to."

The as-yet-untitled Spider-Man reboot swings into theaters 3rd July 2012!

I think, I've read something similar some where else before but it's nice knowing that the guy gives a damn about the role, plus he's a great actor. they seriously need to come with a title for this movie

I kinda hope they use the alex ross version of the spidey suit but not sure how it will come off in live action though

I just hope when they reveal the costume, it won't be a design with the huge eyes. -_-
A darker suit would be excellent.

If they use webshooters, the costume should be like the Alex Ross one StrangerX posted, but with some differences (Like white eyes instead of black, and boots, and a better spider on his chest)... But if they use the classic costume i doubt web shooters would work

the alex ross suit is a disaster! if raimi did ANYTHING right it was ignore that PoS and just put the spidey suit from the comics on the big screen

Yea Big eyes (No Mirror eyes plz) and black webbing on the suit... That's all I ask for.. Keep it original

remember they already said they would take a more "technological" approach to the costume. it must mean they ll go for the webshooters. it just makes sense. the pseudo realism also made the iron man films so succesful, you could almost believe its real.

me like this. but the classic suit would of course also rock.

i wanna see the classic suit with some minor changes like a slightly brighter suit; bigger, buggier eyes; and BLACK webbing design instead of the silver they used for the previous movies.. i also would love to see webshooters on the outside of the costume on his wrists... maybe the webpits ,but thats kinda pushing it lol
