The fans, even myself for a while, have wanted to see the web-slinger do his thing alongside Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Imagine a sarcastic whip along with every action Hulk made, as if we didn't get enough of that from Iron Man. Seeing The Avengers whip ass along with spidey himself would draw in and capture not only the hearts of fans everywhere, but also every child tht exists on this Earth and loves the concept of superheroism. Wanna see what chief creative officer of Marvel Entertainment, Marvel director, chairman, CEO and the founder of Marvel Studios has to say about the little team-up? Just read below. There is a massive extended interview with Arad and The Amazing Spider-Man producer Matt Tolmach over at Collider so make sure to link it up!

Collider's question:
Because The Avengers was so huge, and people now like seeing there superheroes now in one film, is there any sort of plan for studios to combine their efforts and allow Spider-Man to join up with the larger Marvel universe?

Avi Arad's response:
Creatively, it would be a trip, it would be wonderful. We had Avengers in out slate in Marvel six years ago, so it’s really . . . Unfortunately the thing is, at the end of the day our relationship with Disney and Marvel is really wonderful, and it’s a matter of sitting in a room and carving out . . . This is the mother of all superheroes, and I believe after this movie, no one will ask us any questions again because we believe we’ve made something really special. And if Disney and Sony meet and say, “Let’s do this. ” Because it all comes back to the comics, and usually in the comics we do team-ups, even DC.

One can only hope right? Not only has Dr. Strange become a possible inclusion to the team, but as far as the idea goes, so has Spidey. We can only sit and wait to see what the sequel to Joss Whedon's critically acclaimed The Avengers. But as far as this goes, I hope you enjoyed this little bit of CBM news!
