SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME Concept Art Reveals A Three Armed Version Of The Monstrous Molten Man

Mysterio's Elementals in Spider-Man: Far From Home offered unique takes on some classic Spidey foes, and this newly revealed concept art shows off a three armed version of the monstrous Molten Man!

Spider-Man: Far From Home reinvented some of the wall-crawler's most famous villains, Hydro Man and Molten Man among them. The latter proved to be a formidable foe, even if he was just one of Mysterio's illusions, and the monster (supposedly) from another planet tore through Prague despite Peter Parker's attempts to stop it.

Marvel Studios concept artist Jerad S. Marantz has now showcased some amazing concept art from the film revealing an earlier version of Molten Man with debris embedded in his back and a third arm!

"[Originally], my design had three arms and a lot of metal bits and debris in the character," Marantz explains. "It made it in as intended in one of the video games, but changed a little bit in the film. That’s the thing about designing CG characters. Even when the designs approved, they can change by the time they get to screen."

A throwaway comment from Flash Thompson indicated that there's a real Hydro Man somewhere out there in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it seems unlikely classic versions of these bad guys will make it to screen in future Spider-Man films now they've been reimagined in other ways.

I once saw a molten cockroach under my sink. That image has haunted me since.

Off topic: How credible is FandomWire? I've just saw a video about a Youtuber I'm following who read a article on the website which claims that both Andrew Garfield and Toby Maguire have signed on for Spider-Man 3.

"Here’s some fun design sketches for the #moltenman from #spidermanfarfromhome . I did a bunch of these options when I was trying to hone in on the design.... originally my design had three arms and a lot of metal bits and debris in the character."

Pure comedy, the worst part of the film not withstanding all the forced jokes and Disney diversity rubbish. I was so looking forward to these films and really thought that Marvel would do even better than Sam Raimi but in fact they are as bad as the Amazing Spider-Man ones or maybe worse. Just terrible.....

@Spike101 - The Disney Spidey films are worse than the ASM/Webb films. I thought that would have been impossible.

In Marvel Future Fight Molten Man has 3 arms. In the action figure from Hasbro he has only two, but the 3 arms monsters is coller.
