SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Star Tom Holland Still Hasn't Watched THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK

We learned in Captain America: Civil War that Peter Parker has never seen "that really old movie" Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, but what about Tom Holland? You may not like his answer!

Peter Parker's youth was emphasised in Captain America: Civil War when we learned that he had never watched The Empire Strikes Back despite taking down Giant-Man the same way the Rebels stopped the AT-ATs in their tracks in that classic Star Wars movie. It was soon revealed that Tom Holland has also never sat down to watch it and that shockingly still hasn't actually changed!

"I haven’t seen The Empire Strikes Back, I’m not gonna lie," he admitted in the interview below with Yahoo Movies. The British actor has, however, watched Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. "I thought that was dope," he said of the latter. "I really am a fan of those, I thought they were great fun." Holland hasn't actually seen A New Hope or Return of the Jedi either ("For some reason I skipped the original Star Wars, I don’t know why and I’m very embarrassed"), but did admit to being a fan of the prequels, something sure to upset some fans!

"And I’m even more embarrassed to say that I love those movies when I was a kid. Everyone’s like, ‘What? You liked those movies?!‘ But I thought they were great. You know, we’re a terrible generation." What do you guys think of Holland's comments? Let us know in the usual place.

I thought the prequels were decent. Revenge of the Sith is one of the best Star Wars movies.
