Hot Toys Gives Us Better Look At Rhino Than THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Did

"There are a number of deadly foes out to catch the spider in the action packed movie, and Hot Toys is delighted to share with you today some looks of the Rhino battling our favorite wall-crawler! The prototype of the gigantic Rhino will be shown for the first time worldwide at the “Marvel Sapiens” Exhibition hosted at Hot Toys’ flagship store in Tokyo, Japan from tomorrow until May 11!" - Hot Toys

We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead. It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp...

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be directed by Marc Webb from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner and James Vanderbilt. The film will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as Aunt May, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Jamie Foxx is Electro and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn. The Amazing Spider-Man sequel will swing into theaters May 2, 2014.

They already introduced the Cross-Species Genetics program in the first movie, so I don't know why they did... THIS.

I much preferred the cross-species genetics Rhino from the game. Easier to take seriously.

While I like the new look for Rhino his inclusion in the movie was wholly unnecessary. It kind of seemed rushed at the end just to give a tease for the eventual sinister six. His opening cameo would have been good enough on its own instead of shoehorning in a half minute more of action.

Looks like a cross between this and that.

Do they explain were the suit comes from? I haven't seen TASM2 yet but I'm just wondering since the character has 4 minutes of screen time, do they explain it? A simple yes or no will suffice.

That looks [frick]ing stupid. Im cool with a robo/mech suit but at least make it look half good!

I like the idea of it (a mech Rhino is acceptable to me), but the proportions are all off. They should have made it more anthropomorphic. It looks very unnatural and awkward on its hind legs and those tiny little hoof hands give me the creeps...

The Rhino doesn't need rocket launchers and machine guns. He does as much damage with the horn. In fact, if it wasn't for the horn, I would have never guess this was supposed to be the Rhino.

@JoeMomma29 Haha! Awesome.

Pretty cool figure to be fair. Shame about the movie!

Did anyone else feel that not a lot was at stake in this film and that it was rather inconsequential? By the way, I don't need some defender to give me a condescending comment about why it isn't this and that. The keyword is FEELS. What it FELT like. I know everything that happened in this film suggests it does have stakes and consequences, but it FELT like there were none nor did it feel very consequential to me.

Did anyone else feel this?
