I am really confused by this whole thing with two Spider-Men...reading that scene description (which I missed in DCMF's article) really does make it sound as if one of them waits in the car, and then the other takes out that guy. WHAT. THE. [frick]!?! :P I think that the scene description might be a little inaccurate/misleading.

hopefully one of the spider-men is the Chameleon as he was spideys 1st villain (well except for Uncle Ben's murderer).

im pretty sure this description is off.i think Andrew is only in the car to hide from the cameras taking pictures, and to see the stuntman.and seeing as Andrew has the black eye pieces, while the stuntman has the gray ones,i think the black ones are the official ones.if so,i think thats a badass look.Alex Ross inspired.

Could one be Andrew Garfield and another a Stunt man?

I've looked at the pictures, taken time to think about it, and have come to this conclusion: when it comes to Spider Man's fighting style, it looks very gay. Also, and most importantly, THE SUIT LOOKS LIKE SHIT

So Spider-Man is a luchador now. He shouldve jumped on top of the car and give a flying leg drop.

Decided this suit looks rubbish.

Maybe that is just a run through and Garfield was sitting in the car to keep warm (logical)

HOPEFULLY this is just the wrestling suit, if it it this scene looks to me that this may be Spidey's confrontation with Uncle Ben's killer?

Maybe?......No?......Anyone?........

Shocker, because it's raw footage.

This whole thing about the two Spideys is a bit strange...

@Shocker Yeah, me too. I mean of course in the final film product and in official pics there's gonna be different lighting effects, but the first Official picture it looked awesome! The colours and texture of the suit look COMPLETELY different.

Love the look on the poster, not so much in these pics. I hope that's fixed in post.

Based off of that scene description, what could be happening is this:

The car thief gets in his car, Spidey (Garfield) is waiting for him, the thief freaks out, gets out of the car, while Spidey gets out of the car ninja-like and without the thief knowing, then Spidey (stunt guy) pops up and that's when he starts kicking the guy's ass.

Just a possibility. I seriously doubt we're seeing two separate Spidey characters.

I'm not a fan of the new costume design at all...seems to much of "change for the sake of change". Still, that's Hollywood for you.

I'll will check out the movie though.

now i know why studios have closed film sets going on. that way peeps dont take pics from hundred yards away, post em on a comic nerd site and ruin all the hype from one poster that we got a few weeks back.

CLOSE THIS SET! I liked it better when we could guess and speculate on films without any images to go with.
