Sony have released some more images from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, featuring a variety of characters from the Marc Webb helmed sequel, with the spotlight specifically on Spidey (Andrew Garfield), Rhino (Paul Giamatti) and the Green Goblin (Dane DeHaan).

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

we need some movie clips, trailers, pics, set pics, tv spots, and interviews with the director where he says exactly how long one of the villains is in the movie!!!!

Green(?)Goblin looks like a deranged hi-tech version of Peter Pan (in a negative way) , i can't believe that is all they could do with GG , really disappointing.

Man, I can see what people's reactions would be if it was Marvel Studios making the film.

Green Goblin: Ah, he would look ridiculous if they gave him a look from the comics. It keeps all that but gives a new, creepy form of the Green Goblin that is a great modernization of the character!

Electro: Looks so [frick]ing badass. Finally, someone's extending his character arc to include a more personal story unlike the comics where he's basically a nobody character.

Rhino: Well...he looks like the Ultimate version and it is a great modernization of the character as well. Guy in a Rhino suit, ridiculous! In a mech suit, though, that makes a lot more sense!

This is based off the reaction we got for Falcon's look, Quicksilver's look, Scarlet Witch's look, the Mandarin's look (even pre-release for Iron Man 3). Look at all those liberties and tell me these are not okay.

@soto @darmen yeah but the difference is, marvel has proved themselves while changing the look but having a great personalty close to the comic books. with marvel they physically may look different but internally they are very close to the comics.

if marvel made 2012's the amazing spider-man, i would feel the same dislike for this movie. in the amazing spider-man 1 they showed that they could neither handle the visual aspect of the characters nor the motivational aspect of the characters and now with Harry being Goblin before norman and everything revolving around Oscop, im confident that i dont like these 2 movies, no matter if Sony puts it out or Marvel.

thats why i dont want iron man 4. I love Marvel studios but they have disappointed me twice with Iron man 2 and 3

What's sad is this movie has THE WORST supervillan looks ever to appear on film.

Why do they think "tech" / "mech" designs for Rhino & Goblin are the way to go?

If they were going with the mech shit I would have preferred Scorpion as the 1st villain.I would've changed J.J 2 Osborn investigating Peter + the serum would still have been used.The Lizard was just a miss 4 me.They definitely should have included Curt's family as I think would make him more of a sympathetic villain.Which I think he's gonna end up helping out Spidey in the Sinister 6 movie.Idk just throwing shit out there. lol I'm buzzing. I would love 2 c Scorpion,Shocker,Kraven hell mostly all of his villains, Spidey has a fantastic rogues gallery!
