Loving the look of the new suit, but in those pictures it kinda looks like a costume you'd buy in a fancy dress shop

Love the suit but I will still wait on a trailer which wont be till the summer to see how I feel about this.

I love the suit but I wish we could get a clear full body shot so we know what it looks like altogether. I know we've seen most of it but it's all been in small sections. I don't think we've seen the front of the belt area yet at all.

I need to see it on screen as well but still say the blue is too dark and muted. Whatevs.

I don't know how I should feel about this. I loved the material of the first suit, but now this? Looks like Peter bought it in some outlet selling costumes? Cheap material... ?

Those eyes really make the suit.

People need to stop complaining about the fabric of the suit. The production and costume team chose the best material accordin to how it will come off on camera. They can care less how it looks off camera. Some materials just look better than others when seen on camera. Either way, the suit is looking great! I don't seem to see raised webbing though...?

i'd be happy if they just kept the suit from the first movie but changed the eyes to look like the one's they have now. the rest of the suit looks kind of terrible. hope it looks better onscreen

Has no one grabbed a video of him in the suit? I need a video of the suit in action.

P.s., I really can't get over how much complaining people do about the suit regardless of what it looks like. I swear some people just make it their goal to be upset. They say the first one was too different from the comics and was too complicated, but then they say this one looks too much like the comics and is too simple.

I think this might be the most perfect Spidey suit we've ever seen on film. If I could change one thing, I would only add more texture to the suit, similar to the first film but not as much.

Regardless of the complaining going on, I'm very excited for this film. Here's hoping for the best Spidey movie yet. I think this one could very well do it.

The material looks great. Doesn't look cheap at all. But not expensive as to where a kid couldn't get his hands on this material. I'd say it's just right for a movie.

The overall style of the TASM(2) suit (eyes/pattern/etc) is an improvement. I think I liked the "rubbery" material used for TASM better though. I can't help but think it looks kind of... cheap, if you will. It'll look way better on film, just saying..

The only thing I am really not a fan of is how shiny that red looks.

So the red material is what they used in the Raimi trilogy, but the blue is from TASM. I love it, great combination. I hope the colors turn out similar to the TASM suit, because that suit had the best live action color for Spidey.

Eyes look great. Spidey symbols look great. Man I'm looking forward to seeing the full suit.

And again peeps...

It ain't copied off Raimi, its [frick]ing SPIDER-MAN!!!

Both based off the comic book!

Just this one more so than that joke of an awful looking one for the first Amazing Spidey!
TheRedSkull

Are they really going to be able to get away with this new costume, as cool as the alterations are, without people bitching or even thinking it's Raimi's Spidey outfit? I showed by Dad and he already assumed they were going back to do a fourth Spidey Film in Raimi's series...
TheRedSkull
TheRedSkull - 2/27/2013, 11:11 AM
It's just so similar to Raimi's...in terms of the webbing and the material in that first official picture released. I mean there are a million different ways to make the eyes bigger and still stay true to what Webb did in TASM
NeoBaggins
NeoBaggins - 2/27/2013, 11:20 AM
The suit looks shiney and cheap in these pics, but the design more than makes up for that. It's a SPIDER-MAN COSTUME this time. The material can lend itself to that thing where it looks like something he could have made himself- to people who were concerned about that. I like it. First thing I've liked about anything in this series. Just got an Okay Osborn too out of the shitty casting so, there's hope.

It seems that this is exactly what the suit looks like. Belt, arm design and all.

Call me a Sherlock, or Captain Obvious, but I really think that Spidey's looking for a copycat like in the Ultimate comic books, and he probably snagged his mask when trying to catch him. Who could the copycat be, is the question.
