"Yes he will!" the actress told E! Online when quizzed whether the British actor manages to live up to former Spider-Man, Tobey Maguire, at US Weekly's Hot Hollywood party in Los Angeles last night. "I was absolutely blown away by Andrew Garfield. He's insanely talented and a really wonderful person. And Marc Webb as well is an amazing director, so I think you guys will definitely be pleased."

"I think he also brings a level of, you know, being relatable," she added, "and what he's doing with the character in itself, he's really bringing his own to the character, which I think definitely puts a different spin on it."

And who is she playing in the highly anticipated 3D movie?

"I play a girl who hits on Peter Parker," she smiled. "I'm a lucky girl."

With an all star cast that includes Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Denis Leary as Captain George Stacy, Rhys Ifans as Curt Connors, Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben and Sally Field as Aunt May, The Amazing Spider-Man is set to be released in 3D on July 3, 2012!

Also starring Paul Giamatit as Rhino...wait, sorry, Paul Giamatti's dreams are entering my head again. It would be great to see someone like Brock Lesnar to play Rhino in a future movie though. He wouldn't have to say much except, "RRRHHARRR!"

How is it unrealistic? Mythology doesn't make him ugly, just a nerd. He does marry a super model u know. not all school Girls look at if your a nerd or not over how good you look. Marvel72, yeah, Spiderman's made a bundle in the past, but this is a new Spiderman that has nothing to do with Raimi's, remember. TDKR is the third and final part of an established series, which will be likely be the most anticipated in the series, since everyone involved is claiming TDKR will trump TDK.

If there is competition, it will surely be Avengers and Man of Steel.

@thisheart guess what it wasn't Raimi's name that drew people to the Spidey movies it was the characters popularity. He might have directed the movie but he wasn't the main draw.

Spidey will make decent amount of money regardless of who's directing. Anyway's I hope its good, Garfields one of the best young talents around, so hopefully he rocks.

Hope she's Carlie Cooper, Gwen Stacy's best friend and Parker's future love interest. Not MJ and definately not some nobody girl, that would just be boring. We need fanboy easter eggs at every available and sensible opportunity!!
