VIDEO GAMES: Spider-Man Is Coming To DISNEY INFINITY 2.0: MARVEL SUPERHEROES

When Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes was announced earlier this year, it was briefly teased that Marvel's flagship hero Spider-Man would eventually be joining in on the fun. Now with the release of the first trailer, we know he won't be coming alone. Come check it out!

The Spider-Man Play Set includes:

Play Set: Playable characters include Spider-Man, Nick Fury, Iron Fist, Nova and Venom with additional appearances by White Tiger, Black Cat and Luke Cage. Players will be tasked to destroy the cloned symbiotes and advance to fight Mysterio.

Toy Box: Spider-Man, Nick Fury, Iron Fist, Nova and Venom will be playable in the all-new Toy Box 2.0 mode of the game, along with all characters previously released for Disney Infinity. Players will be able to use these characters, plus hundreds of Marvel and Disney-themed items, locations, props and vehicles, to create new adventures in customized worlds. Once players complete the Spider-Man Play Set, the S.H.I.E.L.D. Hover Car, S.H.I.E.L.D. Sky Cycle, Daily Bugle Building and more will be unlocked and can be used in Toy Box.

I like it, but I imagine game-play-wise it's pretty limiting away from the sandbox construction mode. If it had loads of single player game I'd be all over both this and the Avengers one. Lovin the art-style even if it is a bit kiddie / super-kawaii

it just had to be based on ultimate spider-man didn't it? couldn't be spectacular? or a good spider-man show? NOOOO it had to be [frick]ing ultimate spider-man. At least drake bell isn't that bad as spider-man. And to think i was going to buy this.

Finally, Spider-Man is here? Who do you get in this Spidey themed set? A bunch of characters that really should have nothing to do with Spider-Man. Instead of getting cool villains or maybe Black Cat, we get Spider-Man and his Ultimate Friends

If you see just one episode you should see what the problem is.

Its just bad. The humor is awful. Spidey has 4 losers on his team. Coulson is under cover as his school pricipal. He keeps breaking the 4th wall and there are these super-deformed chibi versions of the characters for bad cut away jokes.
Green Goblin is a musclebound monster. Doc Ock seems to be paralized so his arms and legs dont work and he has a breathing aparatus on his chest.
Venom was made by Doc Ock using Spider-man's blood.

Not to mention Marvel animation is almost always terrible...and then along comes Spectacular Spider-man which is one of only 2 shows that are good enough to be on par with DC animated series, and it gets canceled so it can be replaced with......this.
