It seems that filming for Marc Webb's Spider-Man reboot in the streets of L.A., has been giving folks in-depth looks at the webslinger suited up. With the several recent set images proving so, a new clip from the set, dated January 26, has been revealed showing Spidey swinging in action; sort of. While the quality isn't all that great, check out the minute clip below.

So, currently in the midst of filming, Spider-Man returns to theaters in 3D July 3, next year!

So in the movie he is going swing in circles being suspended from a crane. I thought in the comics he had web shooters and did not require a crane?

Good stuff. I hope the swinging comes out even better than in the Raimi movies.

To this day, the ending sequence of Spider-Man (the first one) where Spidey swings across NYC gives me goosebumps. One of the coolest things ever.

Here's hoping Webb and the team do a fantastic job. I love the actors and the camera's used for filming are friggin fantastic, so its all up to the script now.

wow... they r really going cheap... having a guy try to swing like spiderman idk... it might work... but there is going to have to be a lot cuts in the footage...

This clearly isn't the wrestling suit and it isn't an abomination. The changes to the costume are so insignificant. Hardly anyone complained about the changes to Batman or Thor, which are changed way more. Why anyone would get upset about this is beyond me. The suit is fine.

this seems to be a lot of practical effects which is cool. I'm not against CGI i just think it should be used for charecters like Hulk or Stunts so impossible that you just need it

I really hope they don't show his legs flailing like that in the film.

While I didn't care for the camp nature of Raimi's films, or Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker, I've always said he got Spider-Man exactly right. The look, the feel, the power. I hope Marc Webb & Co. can at least duplicate that. Hopefully, though, they'll be able to top it and be even better.

Still undecided about this film.

@BatLantern

Well they have a crap ton of time for post production and and all so they can take their sweet time shooting and re-shooting at this point.

According to Wikipedia, its a 90 day filming schedule. So I guess they should be done early March.

If can imagine the datails from the stunt suit applied to the suit in this pic, I GUARANTEE you'll feel a helluva lot better about the suit.

Looks ok! Still kinda sad that they didnt used the original costume! With those black web marks the orginal would have been great! Dark like that new one of course!

I'm concerned that if they are doing a lot of these type stunts (cables and wires for swinging)...and I can't believe I'm saying this...that they aren't going to do (can't afford?) CGI swinging which will make Spider-Man seem not so Amazing. I know the budget was much smaller for this movie than previous Spider-Man movies, and that scares me.

Cool find @ FRESH... still think the suit is horrible but by the looks of it its got that 70's feel like the old seventies TV show!

Hope is good!
